Good value
After reading many other reviews of hotels in the Lake George area I decided on this hotel. It lived up to expectations. Very clean, large rooms and free breakfast. It was also located close to town. I stayed with my wife and young daughter. I had read that this hotel is family friendly and it lived up to the hype, lots of kids! Overall it was a positive experience, although the ac was a pain, it kept turning on and off throughout the day and night regardless of the temperature setting. Also, warning on the pools, both indoor and outdoor pools are very small and only reach depths of a whopping 4.5 feet.

great week
very nice hotel. it was kinda weird that the room didn't have an HD flat screen and the walls are paper thin. we got woken up a couple times by a crying newborn right next door. other then that it was nice. indoor/outdoor pool and breakfast every morning. the trolley can also stop across the street from the hotel if you wave it down.

Prospect Mountain highway was just amazing. Three lookout points and the summit. Five mile highway brings you to the top for $10. well worth it.

Northern neighbor
Lake George hotel
I really enjoyed staying at the Wingate hotel. It was very clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was good. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the jacuzzi. I especially liked the proximity to the beach as well as the great outlet shopping!

The outlet centres offer great deals. When I went (beginning of Aug), there were additional discounts for end of season goods. Not to be missed!

perfect place for extended stay
We took advantage of everything the property had to offer! The room was huge, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous and user-friendly (stayed open until 10:00!). Pools were clean and well-maintained, and they didn't look out onto a parking lot or traffic. Very secluded feel. The business center was actually stocked with printer paper, and the exercise room made the most of its space with well-maintained equipment. Even the laundry was easy. Great ambiance, if you like the rustic adirondack look.

Anniversary getaway
Good, clean, much bigger than expected
The pool was nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking was adequate. Breakfast was good.

unbeatable location for the price
What a great location for our needs. Everything was a short drive! Shopping, Dining and the lake. Breakfast in the morning was great. The rooms were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful
