The hotel was beautiful. The pool and the view of the lake and the mountains was absolutely beautiful. It was a little bit ... noisy in the courtyard rooms, however, it could have been because it was the holiday weekend.

Unhappy Traveler Sep 1, 2009
Everything was going fine until we found ants in our room. We killed three the first day and woke up with one in our bed. ... When we complained to the front desk all the offered us was a free lunch (which still ended up costing us $14). Wasn't happy with their customer service at all, once they realized we booked through Orbitz they were not willing to help us at all.

I really nice place in the heart of Lake George, just a few minutes walk to all the restaurants and fun.......rooms were very ... clean, great place right on the lake, bar, cabana bar outside, lounge and restaurant, staff very friendly and helpful, cant go wrong here, would definately stay again.....only negatives, air conditioning was inadequate and the rooms could use a bit of updating.....

Kathi, Grandmama Aug 25, 2009
This was a great hotel for location. It was right next to Lake George Village. Room and bath were spacious and clean. Nice ... pool bar and entertainment and great for kids. However, "private beach was very small and you could walk out forever and it never got deeper than 3 feet and very weedy. Food service and quality (all buffet items were cold) were mediocore at best.

claire, need peace and quite Aug 18, 2009
The hotel is in a good location. Rooms are old and need sprucing up. Rugs in rooms are tackey and need to be replaced or ... removed. Water in shower ran hot then cold, making taking a shower quite an experience. I don't recommend staying at this hotel unless you have children and are looking for an inexpensive vacation. The pool is very noisy and filled with kids splashing and horsing around. Also very crowded. Could not find a place to seat.

The Georgian on Lake George
Grammy Lise Aug 3, 2009
The Georgian is a beautiful hotel with a lot to offer its guests. In particular, we enjoyed the pool and the patio bar, which ... is a great place to have lunch and watch the boats sail by. The pool area is also a great spot to catch the weekly fireworks display held by the village. My only criticism was with the size of our two double-bed room. While the bathroom was huge, the rest of the room was a tight fit for two adults and two young children.
