Horrible Day

Perfect location for exploring area
We found our room ready when we got there. We travel four or five times a year and can be very critical; but, found nothing to be critical about. It was located near the downtown area and perfect for walking to shops, restaurants, lake and park. The staff at the desk was so very helpful and cheerful. Complimentary breakfast was first rate and the person manning the breakfast room was friendly and kept it clean and humming. The concern with bedbugs were on the top of my mind..but, not a worry here. We also felt very safe.

How nice to see fireworks right from our balcony and just a short walk to the park for outdoor entertainment...or a short walk to the pier for a paddleboat ride.

nice clean place
Location was good, short walk to shops, food, beach. Our room was clean. The bed was comfortable, but you could tell there was a rubber pad on it. We traveled the week before Memorial Day, half the town was still hibernating. Even though it was 90 degrees, the summer fun had not really started yet, most of the shops and restaurants were not open. It was nice though not dealing with crowds. Had one of the best pizzas ever from Pizza Jerks a few blocks up the road. Judds Tavern, a quaint neighborhood bar was a nice, the bartender told us about her favorite restaurant (Ridge Terrace) a few miles away, we went for a ride but they were closed too. Took a ride on the Lac du St Sacrement and did the lunch buffet $31.50 pp not worth it, and they play really old music. Attemped to drive up to Mt. Prospect yup closed too. Very much like Bar Harbor ME.

Although we did not use the pool it did look very nice and we would have had it all to ourselves. It was very hot in the 90s, wish I had brought my bathing suit. Late May b/4 Memorial Day is a good time to go if you dont like the crowds. Check schedules if you have plans in mind.

a very nice place to stay
This was a first class motel with very friendly service. The location was within walking distance of the center of town. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding with waffles and sausage as well as the usual cereal and toast. There was a friendly and cheerful hostess to assist with breakfast. Definitely worth visiting again.

Cute hotel, great location
We made a quick stop in Lake George on our way to Vermont. The hotel was comfortable and very well located. We could walk into town for a nice dinner and then hit the road early after a quick, very satisfying breakfast at the hotel.

Relaxing stay
Quality Inn was comfortable and clean. It is also in a nice location, close to the lake and within walking distance of lots of restaurants. The hot tub was especially nice as we were there in the off season (mid-june) so we got the hot tub to ourselves every evening. The hotel is also nicely decorated on the outside with great landscaping, pretty flowers and a nice pool. Overall nice stay.

My review of Quality Inn Lake George
The beds seemed hard to sleep on. The staff was efficient and curteous. The room was immaculate. We would go back there on our next visit.

stay away from the pancake house painted blue and purple. Food was cold and too expensive.
