No food outlet or minimart close by so get something to eat before leaving JFK or just make do with hotel's vending machines or pizza delivery.

It was just a sleepover to take an early flight from JFK. The room was small but it was as expected. The quality of bed or ... bed sheet was just ordinary. The free breakfast was simple and just enough.

My experience at the hotel was good. The room and bathroom was clean! The front-desk staff were fairly friendly. The female ... representative could have been friendlier. The hall was quiet and I was able to obtain additional toiletries. Breakfast wasn't served and that would have been nice but I think we left too early. The waiting/sitting area was very small. I would recommend a re-model. Would also recommend ice machines on every floor. Overall, it was a plesant stay. The location was right off a busy highway but food was in walking distance. I would have liked a micro-fridge in the room.

A really good travelling hotel

This hotel is certainly not in a fantastic neighbourhood, but if you are travelling via JFK, I could not come up with any ... good reason not to stay here. The room and bathroom were super clean the bed was really comfortable. Some might say they are a bit small, but I was travelling alone and it was plenty big enough for me. The carpet looked like it was starting to wear, but the rest of the room was in very good condition. The staff were very friendly and I could not fault the airport shuttle service. Unfortunately I had to fly out early and missed the breakfast so I cannot comment on that. I was provided with a couple of take away brochures that would deliver to the hotel, but did not use them because I was only interested in getting some sleep. Some other people staying there said that it was noisy, but I didn't notice anything other that the usual hotel type banging and door slamming. If I was travelling through JFK again, I would most certainly stay here. Very good value. The only fault I can find was the 2 sachets of Decaf coffee - I need my caffeine in the morning.....

I had a late international flt into JFK. Ideal place to stay until my flight the next afternoon. Checkin was quick and room ... was excellent value for money especially given 12 noon checkout, included continental breakfast and free wireless internet. Free shuttle from/to JFK made for hassle free transfer.

in the other hotels i have stayed in, there has never been a problem with space to hold luggage if i had to check out before ... my time to leave for the airport. this stressed me out as i had a long lay over in new york.

Days Inn Jamaica - I wouldn't stay here for more than a night or two - just because there isn't a lot to do in the immediate ... vicinity. I only stayed here because it was better than staying at the airport for 16 hours. Worth the money, considering the distance from the airport. Free shuttle to and from the hotel was super, but lack of eateries was annoying. They do provide you with a few menus from places that deliver to the hotel.
