The best thing I liked about this hotel was very cordial staff who were always ready to help, be it providing local information or booking a taxi to the airport early in the morning. Rooms were clean, but there was cigarette smoke odor coming from one of the neighboring rooms which was slightly irritating at times as I am a non-smoker. The hotel is conveniently located near subway station with access to trains that take you directly to downtown Manhattan which is a huge plus. The area looked pretty safe.

Clean, quiet, safe
We stayed here and found it to be clean and quiet. It was a typical Best Western and met our standards of a nice, inexpensive place to sleep. We spent most of the time in Manhatten and the subway was only a 10 minute walk and then another 40 minutes or so to the heart of NYC. We spent the entire days there and walked back late at night and felt very safe. Close by is a grocery store and a few fast food places to eat. They did provide a typical breakfast that was more than adequate for our stay: cereal, muffins, bagels, danish, hard boiled eggs. toast, waffles, juice, coffee, fruit.

It was clean, nice non smoking room. Nice TV for the money, good continental breakfast. Recommend to a friend for nice and quite family stay.

Old aminities, poor quality breakfast (nothing to eat). No even eggs.... Very frustrated. Almost unreachable if you do not use your own transportation. Cigarette smell was all around this place, even in non-smoking rooms. Do NOT recommend to a friend.

Not bad
It is located in a somewhat shady spot but once you are in the hotel its not bad. The rooms are clean, they serve a pretty decent breakfast, and the staff is pretty friendly, but you do hear the noise from the highway as well as the sirens from the nypd post located nearby, and it is quite a walk from the subway station( not in mileage but definitely in scenery)

I booked this hotel because it was the cheapest option in NYC. It is 9 miles from downtown and there is a subway station nearby. There is free parking on-site which I thought was great. The continental breakfast was a nice inclusion. Would stay here again.

Fun sojourner
Nice location and friendly front desk staff
The place is within walking distance to the subway and front desk staff picks up phone when you need info. But the AC in the room was quite loud though.
