Just a place to crash

After checking in after 9pm and finding that the room was slanted, the thermostat wasnt working(it was really cold)and the room was barely clean. This wasnt a cheap room either,I expected just a bit more for my buck. But like I said,it was a place to crash. Would I go back, nope.

Last resort

All the hotels we wanted to go to were booked because of the open house at Ithaca College. We really didn't have much of a choice and needed a place to spend the night. Well, it was a HORRIBLE place! We had a late night check-in. When I walked into the "reception area", the person didn't even bother to look up to greet me. We got to the room - it was TINY! You could hear all the noise from outside - the hotel is off of a very busy road where trucks traveled along all night. The walls were so thin, we could here the people in the next room talking. They weren't shouting; just having a normal conversation. We could also hear their water running as they showered. Not fun sounds to hear when you're trying to go to sleep at 11pm. If my son ends up going to Ithaca College, we will absolutely AVOID this place when we visit him. Just absolutely AWFUL!!!!

Not close to downtown

It wasn't as close to downtown as I thought. The room was spacious but a little dirty and smelly. It's a place to crash for a night if you can sleep tight away.

no no

Although the staff was super nice and accommodating, the facility has an awful moldy smell... with no time to change hotels we actually had to light a scented candle in order to sleep. The sheets and blankets need serious updating. We won't be going back there.

great value & location

More then pleased with this property. Have a great resturant/bar . Close to all kinds of shopping (walking) and downtown Ithaca, with many resturants, theaters, clubs. Spent three days , and will return in the near future. Safe neighborhood.

Won't stay here again

Silly things were messed up about this place. The electrical outlets did not work because they were too worn out. Cell phone chargers would just wobble out of the outlet. The shower head was taped on and wouldn't move. I'm 6'0" and I had to duck in a weird position to get water. The bathroom sink was held up by a wooden pole, just looked quite ghetto to me. Overall it was a place to stay for a few nights, but when I go back in a week I will be sure to stay someplace else.

Nothing Spectacular...

but it'll do the job. The room did smell pretty stale however. One staff member was awful, the other was fantastic, so I guess it just depends.

No frills

If you are on a tight budget than this is the hotel for you. Don't expect anything fancy. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is close to Downtown Ithaca and to retail stores. The size of the room and bathroom was decent with enough storage space. The bed was comfortable. However, there was wallpaper peeling up from the wall with some mold on it. Maybe not a good stay for people with kids or pets.
