Just the basics... but really friendly people!!
I go here every other weekend when I'm in town on call. The staff here are very friendly, very accomodating, and really nice. The place itself is very basic, but nice and clean and at such a great rate! Fridge and microwave in every room, heat/air works. Worth the visit.

Adequate
We went to attend funeral for my nephews 4 grandchildren that died in Rochester fire.The funeral was in Elmira,and it wasgood travel time and adequate place to spend two nights. check in quick and easy,room was clean,but in a non smoking room the bedspread had burn mark and a tear.

Not that bad, but nothing special
A lot of other reviews of this hotel had us genuinely worried about the overall quality, but it turned out to be just fine. Let's be clear though, this is not a fancy place, or exotic resort. It's a roadside motel that's on par with a Motel 6 or similar. The hotel is right next to the off ramp and incredibly easy to get in and out of, so that was great. Our room was small but clean, it had a fridge, microwave and tv and comfortable bed. The bathroom was very small and the whole place definitely needs some major updates. We were staying 1 night and for that it was perfectly acceptable. I wouldn't want to stay here for more than a few nights, but for a decent place to stay on your way to somewhere else, it's just fine.

Louie's Hanover Square is an amazing restaurant just a few blocks away from the hotel. The food is outstanding and the Bananas Foster Cheesecake is beyond description! 102 S.Main St. Horseheads NY 14845

Tired and shopped out
not so nice
The woman at the desk was very nice. She gave me coupons to the stores I would be shopping at. But that is all we can really say nice about the hotel. The sheets had a burn hole. The comforter had stains. The bed was really hard and we didn't sleep much. The place looked old. But again the woman was really nice. I would not stay there again though.

Clean and a good night's sleep.
We just needed a place to sleep for a night and this was perfect. It was conveniently located and easy to find. The receptionist was VERY friendly and accommodating. He gave me keys to 3 rooms and I could pick the one I liked. The beds, sink, shower and floor were clean. The bed was very comfortable. New microwave and refrigerator were in the room and the heater worked well. The furnishings were old and the rooms seem to have not been updated in quite a while but for our purposes it was just fine.
