Basic

Linens were fine and clean, bathroom was clean. Room was basic, though nice to have refrigerator and microwave. Room and grounds need better upkeep.

Ask the hotel clerk for a recommendation for a good LOCAL restaurant. We have found some fabulous places to eat that way.

Lots of little things that made it disappointing.

The hotel was full of small annoyances that made the stay less than comfortable. To start off, our first room smelled of cigarette smoke, so I went back to to front desk to ask for a different room. The next room wouldn't open. So I had to go back to the front desk again and they gave me a third room. This room opened and didn't reek of cigarettes, it it did have an unpleasant musty odor to it. The room itself was a bit outdated, but clean enough. The bathroom was old and the shower/bath had stains. Breakfast was held in a dimly lit bar connected to the hotel, they kept running out of stuff and it was an overall poor experience. I would expect this kind of hotel from a cheap $50 a night motel, but not a days inn. Stay away from this place and choose something else.

A little sketchy

The room smelled and felt damp. There was also an unexplained tapping sound that continued throughout the night.

Stinks!

There was a horrible smell in the lobby that they tried to blame on the restaurant. The room smelled also. One security camera was missing and I doubt that the other one worked. There were no locks on the buildings. The paint was chipped, the bathroom was very old. Everything was out of date. On the positive side, the bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC worked to take some of the smell away. This hotel cost the same as the Best Western Plus we stayed at the night before in Mishawaka IN but was not even close in quality. The breakfast was adequate. The entire property was very run down.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The Lehigh Restaurant next door had great food with huge portions. McDonalds across the street for coffee and breakfast.

Can't beat the price

I needed a cheap room near an event... the location was good and I slept well. The room was plain, a little shabby, but worked. The breakfast was free, but served in a seedy country western bar that was closed during the day. I would recommend this only to friend who understand this is only good for a cheap place to sleep, not a family vacation.

friendly and reliable

This is a no frills motel but worth the price for location convenience to RIT. The staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast includes hot food and the attached country & western bar adds to a pleasant diversion with good food, drink and entertaining dance floor. My third stay here

Very Bad

Room did not have a Refrig or Clock. TV only went to channel 60 + no TV guide on remote or info button. Could park because people from a bar next door. Morning breakfast not good. Plus people off the street coming in the have breakfast and coffee. This is a very high price area, so these things should not be happening. Would not recommend this place to anyone! Also truck next door.
