Zen modern hotel with golf, sports, swimming and style

HYATT REQENCY
GREAT SERVICE. I ORDER THIS TRIP THRU ORBITZ WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO INCLUDE FREE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, FOR MY FAMILY OF FOUR. THE HOTEL HAD NO RECORD OF THAT. BECAUSE I WAS A TRIPLE AAA MEMBER, I RECEIVED TWO FREE BREAKFAST.THE HOTEL WAS ACCOMODATING.

Hyatt Regency long island
It was very good. I picked it after being stuck with a terrouable hotel in NYC. So it was a last minute kinda thing but it was very good hotel. It's not ideal if you want to see NYC but ideal to stay in long island.

Room Service
Quick visit - in town for a funeral - comfy room - polite staff - I'd stay again - I did pre-order a bottle of wine - however upon arrival it was not there - so I just ordered it when I arrived - room service is only available up til midnight - and as I knew I was getting there late...wanted to make sure it was ready for us! thank goodness I arrived just a bit after 11pm :)

Great Breakfast included as advertised ?
Had to fight for advertised breakfast that was supposed to be included for two with the low rate, but we won and the buffet breakfast with available omletts to order was great. The ammenties were above average: free Wall Street Journal, clean modern room(no bed bugs), nice soap and shampoo, toothpaste(nice touch), hand lotion with way too much parfuime(couldn't use).

Extremely pleased wtih stay
The location was not too far from where our event was taking place in the area. Quite location and great staff. Good value too! Enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning. Thanks...you did it again!

all most very nice
it was nice but the only thing that was wrong was I wanted a smoking room and got a non smoking, it was a very long walk out side. If all the rooms are non smoking then they shouldn't ask which one you want plus it was suppose to have a balancy. The breakfast buffet was bad, the food was all cold and not worth the $17.00

Not so great
there was a musty odor in the hall way air, our room was very far from the elevators, noisy neighbors, ants on the bed linen, TV did not work and the bed side lamp did not work. Breakfast buffet was adequate but coffee was cold as was the French Toast ( usually my favorite choice). We only stayed 1 night so there might have been an opportunity to fix the TV and lamp and we did feel the front desk staff were exceptionally caring and responsive.

The good, the bad and the really ugly
Very disappointed with the room.Supposed to have a view of the golf course;did not. Corners of carpet nevery swept had lots of dust and pretzels by window under curtains.Had to ask for toilet paper and coffee replacements AFTER the maid had serviced the room
