The 3 of us decide to go to Americade at the last minute. The ride was good but we got in early but the staff let us drop our gear in our room anyway. Very friendy. Beds were alittle on the firm (hard) side.

Old
This motel was old and run down. Mattress was old and had springs, hard to lay on. Not a very comfortable nite of sleep...... Wallpaper was coming off wall.

Basic hotel, good place to sleep, but not to hang out
We choose Econo Lodge because this area is pretty expensive in the summer and Econo Lodge offers one of the best. It's a basic motel; nothing fancy but a fine place to sleep.

Prime Location
The Econo Lodge met our needs as travelers seeking a clean place to stay, allowed us to bring our dog and provided us with the amenities we sought; specifically a kitchen for a reasonable cost and close to our travel route. We really liked the fact that the kitchen/dining area was separate from the bath and sleeping area. The room really met our needs. Thanks Econo Lodge.

The Aviation Mall was across the road, along with restaurants and other shopping opportunities. The hotel was also close to a main interstate highway and a short trip to The Great Escape, outlet shopping and Lake George.

Comfortable
Rooms were comfortable and clean. The front desk employees were very courtieous. We took some short walks in the neighborhood and felt safe. The location was great for us.

simple no frills stay
Moderate hotel near to Lake George. Had a pleasant night sleep and took off. No indoor pool like other near by hotels but is ok to stay for a night.

lake george stop
A nice hotel at a reasonable price. Family of 5 on our way to Lake George. Would recommend to anyone visiting this area.

Not notified of motel switch
I found it very inconvenient to arrive at the advertised Econo Lodge in Glens Falls, NY and being told I had to continue to the next highway exit and town and stay at the Rodeway Inn in Queensbury, NY. My wife and I had made plans for locations close to the Econo Lodge and had to abandon them when we were notified we couldn't stay there. I wasn't even offered the option of a refund and deciding for myself if I wanted to stay elsewhere. Very poor customer service.
