this was a great find !the location is right at the lake adjacent to a park, oppurtunity to jog, watch sunsets . Swimming privileges at nearby location down the street. This is in heart of historic downtown Geneva Ny , a charming town.Rooms are
very modern and comfortable. Complimentary coffee and bagels in the morning , can be upgraded to full hot breakfast for extra charge . Great spot.
The hotel has a perfect location, rate the top of lake Geneva, central to wineries and close to restaurants. Unfortunately it was 15 degrees outside while we were there so we were not able to enjoy the lake! Overall the hotel was very nice and I
would definitely recommend it.
This was the recommended hotel for a wedding I attended. The room was available and clean when I arrived. We had no issues. There's nothing amazing going on here. It's perched on the lake, which is nice. Don't expect much to be happening in town.
A great place to end your wine tasting trip on Senaca Lake. You can walk around the lake which also has a beautiful park to enjoy. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. The view of the lake from your room is awesome. During summer they
have a live band & grill on Fridays which we enjoyed.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
The Pier house has a very good breakfast and buffet with reasonable cost.
They canceled our lake view reservation then gave us a room near the lobby looking at the parking lot with loud music over speakers. I had to keep asking them to lower it. They moved us to the lake view room the next day and there was a giant tent
blocking 90% of the view. When we asked if we would have to pay for lake view the manager said we would have to talk to this website. When we called did not tell the truth and said we were happy with everything. The manager wouldn't reduce the fee for the lake view blocked room and tried charging lake view rate for the parking lot room. There is no continental breakfast as it says in on this website. The pool is tiny, max capacity 10. We left and found a beautiful room 20 miles down the lake.
What a beautiful spot on the lake--gazebo and tented tables to sit next to Lake Seneca. Nice room, nice view, very nice staff. Restaurant very good, not spectacular. Spend the extra 10 bucks for a lakeview!!
This trip was our first time in the region and we just wanted to relax and enjoy the lake. We got an amazing lake side room and loved every moment.
* definitely get a lake side room
* walking distance to downtown Geneva
* the hotel restaurant,
the pier house, is great for dinner or breakfast
