Fairfield Inn by Marriott New York LaGuardia Airport/Flushing

Nothing flashy, but everything was nice; friendly staff. Small parking lot; had to park on street.

Our room was flooded one morning from leaking pipe in ceiling. No convenient parking. Parking on the street but water floods near the curb. Poor towel service. Maids come late in the day, interfering with getting ready for dinner. Shuttle blocks driveway in front of main entrance so we couldn't drop off baby on those cold days. Room was way too small for two adults and a crib. Location looks deceptive on Google Maps. It's not really that close to the main road or the airport. Not really an "airport hotel".

Our experience when we FINALLY arrived was great. The location was difficult to get to and not sure why. Parking is limited but worked out just fine. The facility and the staff were terrific and we had THE BEST COMFORT regarding the beds.

One night only but was quite comfortable. Room up to date and clean. Only down side was it was not within walking distance to anything but van drop-off helped.

Right from the start nothing could be finer.We landed at the airport called the hotel for their shuttle van to pick us up. Within ten minutes we were pick up and on our way to the hotel. Upon arrival the hotel clerk checked us in quickly however she said that my CC had been declined . The clerk took all the info from my internet order and made all the necessary calls to straighten evrything out that showed in fact everything was paid properly. When we needed to go eat we asked where they would suggest and got a ride to and from with no problem. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I honestly think that this hotel deserves more than 2 stars. The staff were friendly and professional and the room was very clean...We didn't expect that breakfast will be included but it actually was,and it was very good-a little bit for everyone.

We stayed for just one night and had to get to LaGuardia Airport the next morning. Did a late check-in. The lady at the reception was very helpful when i called to get directions to get to the hotel. Breakfast starts at 6.00 am which helped us grab some breakfast (which was quite good!) before we went to the airport leaving at 6.30 in the hotel's complimentary shuttle service. We were able to do a web check-in and get the printouts at the hotel which was a big +. Room was nice, comfortable and clean. I recommend this hotel!!

The staff was excellent & did everything & anything to make our stay enjoyable. They were very friendly & the shuttle to & fro to the subway was very convient. They also shuttled us to an Italian resturant. If you are looking to stay close to NYC I would highly recommend this hotel. The only downside to this hotel is that it is surrounded by Chinese resturants.

I enjoyed the hotel for its affordability. However, it is not convenientely located. You need to take a shuttle bus which leaves every hour for the nearest subway station. Despite this the hotel is good, clean and I would recommend it for a budget-conscious traveler to NYC.

This hotel is not like a normal high-quality Marriott hotel. Shuttle was very late picking us up at Laguardia. We had to call them three times and each time they said it will be a few minutes. 45 minutes later it finally arrived. The mattress in the room was unusually soft and unsupportive. The real problem with this place is the constant, thunderous jet noise taking off from Laguardia airport. Hotel is right in the flight path. There is no room in the hotel where you can escape the noise. I stay at Marriotts all over the world and this is the worst Marriott property I have ever encountered.
