Pleasant surprise
We thought it was just another highway-side hotel for business people. But what a nice surprise, to find a quiet, spacious lounge, a sunny open breakfast room, and a comfortable sleeping room within 10 minutes of the commuter train to NYC. Ideal for our getaway to visit friends and family in the area -- and easy-in/easy-out to NYC for a Saturday at museum and off-Broadway play.

The little town of Elmsford is just 4 or 5 blocks up the road and has a nice variety of restaurants. We chose Indian, and had a wonderful meal.

We have stayed several times at this Hampton as it is near family. We always find the rooms clean, neat, and comfortable. The breakfast is an added bonus. I would have liked real glass wear for drinking in the room, but understand that there is not a real kitchen so may be difficult to wash glassware.

Nothing fancy but fine
This was a reasonable hotel at a reasonable rate (for the NY area). Room was fine but not great: - Mini Ironing board was a pain to use when there is only a desk for flat surface - No counter space in the bathroom

Orbitz/Hampton Inn - White Plains/Tarrytown
The booking through Orbitz was easy and efficient, and the pricing was very fair. The hotel was GREAT and their complimentary breakfast was terrific. The room was spacious and clean, the Wi-Fi was free and worked fine, and the bed was comfortable. My wife and I found this booking very satisfactory and would not hesitate to book this way again. Thanks Orbitz for a rewarding experience.

The Imperial Wok is only about a 7-minute drive from the hotel, and their food is extremely good. Try the shrimp wonton soup for two! We can speak from first hand experience that the shrimp and lobster sauce and the beef with snow peas are both great dishes!

Great location near Expressways
We did some sightseeing while we were in the area, plus we went to a surprise 70th birthday in the White Plains area.

They gave us a list of restaurants in the area and we even could have walked to it, but it was over 100 degrees and we decided to drive.

Cheap Traveler
A great place to rest your head
I needed a place to stay for the night as I was attending a conference in the area. When I arrived (early), I was greeted by a friendly and funny staff person. She quickly check me in. I was afraid that I might need to wait to check-in as I was early, but that was not a problem. The hotel was very modern and clean. My room was very comfortable and clean.

Super Comfort
excellent service
The room is newly remodel and super clean. The service at the front desk is excellent. Everything about this hotel is wonderful, and the only thing i like to improve is the television, it wasnt all clear on some channels but it doesnt bother me a whole lot. Other than that the stay was just wonderful the way it is. I will surely come back when i have another business trip.

Hampton Inn White Plains/Tarrytown
Good hotel, conveniently located. I thought the room had a kitchen. It didn't but the hotel provided a refrigerator and microwave which did the trick. 24 hour coffee and breakfast are nice features.

Comfortable Stay
I was flying out of the Westchester Aiport and needed an affordable place to stay on the way out of town and on the way back to town. The Hampton Inn was comfortable, the breakfast was great, the price was just right and it is within minutes of the airport.
