very dirty, doors wouldnt close,needs a lot of work

This property was somewhat difficult to find. Fisherville may have once been a main road but it has been cut off by various shopping malls and new road construction. A small sign indicates the location behind a restaurant/bar. The property is what you would expect from a 60's or 70's motel with a few modern upgrades by the current owners (like new showers, bathroom fixtures, flat screen TV, microwave, refrigerator, air conditioner, bathroom doorknob). The staff was very courteous and helpful.

We stayed in the room as little as possible and got up very early to leave. Dumpy.

They charge me one time 8% tax. and another 12% tax.Be prepared for 20% tax.

I stayed for 3 nights while racing at Watkins Glen. The hotel was convenient to resturants and not too far from the track for the price. But it was definitely an older property and well worn.

room was not clean (black hairs in tub and on bed stand), tub did not drain well, sidewalk outside of room was crumbling concrete, told me I had to cancel the second night online and couldn't do it in person, but then changed their mind and charged me $95.26 for a night in a dump! Very unhappy about the whole experience!!

Good for a place to sleep and nothing else. It's not even that cheap. It was over $100 after all their fees. For that price you can stay at a decent hotel. When I showed up my room was not cleaned yet.

When I 1st got there it wasn't what I expected at all. I was told redone rooms and it was everything but! When we 1st went to the office the lady ran my credit card and said I owned $237 for one night! I said I don't think so! She argued with me until her husband came and showed her she was wrong! They kept charging my card over and over. We had no money for lunch or any of the plans we had planned!Then they said I owed $120. [...]

This place was a dump. I got in after check-in and the rooms were still being cleaned. The only reason I booked here is because all standard hotels prices were through the roof due to the holiday weekend. The room WAS NOT clean. There were pubic hairs all over the bathroom. The sheets had long black hairs on them. They had put carpet powder down to try to mask the smell. The door would not lock, and the chain/latch was broken and the door jam was coming off the wall. I left after one night of a two night stay and am disputing this charge on my AMEX. Total dump.

Clean, but with powerful medicinal smell. After using OUST, I had no issue. Needs attention to tile edges (grout). Water pressure low, no hairdryer, no room view (advertised mountain view). However, as I was surprising a friend, who I normally would stay with, it was a convenient place to stay at a budget price.
