fantastic place to stay
We stayed here for family weekend at Cortland. What a wonderful experience. From checking in, even though there was so many people checking in the young man behind the desk was so very gracious and kind, to when we checked out. the room was great. we had everything we needed and more. The breakfast was delicious. and I don't want to forget to add my husband's favorite, the yummy cookies at the desk. We will stay here again for sure.

my son's wedding weekend
AWESOME. from the cleanliness, the service by the staff, the ammenities , the location and accessibility to locations of my son's wedding. I was traveling with family members, including my 3 year old granddaughter. The board games and cookies in the lobby were her favorite, along with the pool & hot tub. We enjoyed the breakfast very much both mornings. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who might travel to this area. The staff was very helpful, considerate & friendly. Overall experience was enjoyable.

Surprisingly GREAT hotel!
I didn't expect to love a budget hotel so much. It is half hr from cornell/ a bit far but worth it. Staff was excellent/very friendly and helpful. Free wifi, free cookies, snacks and then desserts later.....free dvds and books and games to borrow! Breakfast was substantial too, eggs, bacon, potatoes and usual fare, waffle maker, yogurt, fruit etc. For $100 night/ couldn't want any more! Pool and hot tub small but good enough for fun. I had the BEST sleep in that bed with soft sheets! It was all a nice surprise!

Applebee's is best place around but is busy so try to go early or after 7:30 for dinner.

Good free breakfast and great late night snacks too!!
Very comfortable room and very friendly service. The free breakfast was better than most and the homemade chocolate chip cookies and other snacks and the front desk were great!

This hotel is pretty good
The bed was very comfortable, the shower/bathroom was good, the TV was a flat-screen which was good. The free breakfast won't be putting Bob Evans out of business anytime soon, but the bagels and english muffins were just fine. The phone kept flashing the message waiting light, even after I called down to the operator, and they said they would turn it off, it came back on the next day regardless.

refreshing stay

Traveling Hockey Fan
Solid value
We had never stayed at a Country Inn & Suites before and we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived late and there was a hitch with programming our roomkey, but after that was solved, our stay went smoothly. Breakfast was good, coffee was available 24/7, and there were always cookies in the lobby. The room itself (a king bed, 1 bedroom suite)was very spacious and comfortable. Everything seemed clean, and there was a fridge and microwave available in the living area. The fitness area is small but has 5 cardio machines and a TV. The pool is small and we didn't get a chance to use it or the hottub, but it looked nice enough. The hotel is a 25-30 min drive to Cornell's campus, but there was no traffic and it was fairly convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel for travel to this area, especially if there are no reasonably priced rooms available in Ithaca.

great hotel, great locaction, very clean
fantastic hotel, we wll be back. We decided to stay in Cortland 20 minutes by car from Cornell University. Great location, and fantastic service.
