Terrible customer service

Travelled to Buffalo for a leisure trip. The front desk staff was unprofessional. TV service (ability to rent movies in rooms and volume control issues) was completely unsatisfactory the entire weekend. No offer to address issue on behalf of staff other than unplug TV and reboot system. Advertises late check out, but was not available when our family requested with no explanation other than- 12 o'clock check out! Phone call to management after check out with NO RETURN PHONE CALL! Really one of the WORST hotel experiences my family has ever had.

Served its purpose

I needed a room for the weekend as I was in town for a Buffalo Bills game. Originally, I was looking for something closer to downtown Buffalo so we could experience some of the local nightlife. However, the location of this establishment was easy-on/easy-off the highway and we were no more than 17 miles away from any of our planned destinations making for an easy drive. When we attempted to check in at 3:00pm, there were no rooms ready and we told to hang around until a cleaned room was ready. We eventually returned later that evening after a late lunch and were assigned a room. There was a used plastic spoon on the floor (which probably fell out of the trash basket when being emptied) and there was no iron. Other than that, the room was your average room. The complimentary breakfast in the sitting room was decent. Due to the full nature of the hotel, it was a bit crowded at breakfast, and the employees working the breakfast bar were less than thrilled about being there. Buffalo's airport isn't as busy as some others, but for the air traffic there was at night, the hotel was rather quiet. All in all, the hotel served its purpose, and because of its proximity to the airport and easy highway access, I would consider staying here again when coming up to the Buffalo area to catch another Bills game.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

When in Buffalo, it's a must to have a "beef on weck" sandwich. Check out Schwabl's restaurant about 15 minutes away in West Seneca for a great meal.

It was ok

We always stay at Holiday inn express when we travel because they are usually very clean and we like the breakfast in the morning before we hit the road! The location was convenient as it is literally across the street from the airport but you might want to bring ear plugs as the planes are flying right over head. The breakfast was fantastic. I didn't care for the bathroom as there was no fan so it got really hot and steamed up after showering. Would we stay at this location again? Probably! The staff was very friendly and helpful!

Holiday Inn Express--Buffalo

Stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Fl. and was great. This was just okay. Had a loud party happening in hallway outside our door about 11:30 at night. Tried to call front desk and got a recording--no one ever did answer even in the morning. We went out and complained to "party people" who were kind enough to quit--no help from Holiday Inn. No fan in bathroom--never good--ice machine not working on second floor! Most of staff friendly except for front desk man who ignored me twice when standing in front of him. Fairly good breakfast buffet--might stay again but hopefully not in the middle of soccer/hockey/ whatever season it was that drew the hoards of kids staying that night.

Great Trip

The hotel was clean and almost perfect. We traveled to NY on Motorcycles to see the falls & the only thing missing was a laundry facility. One Coin operated washer & dryer would have made the stay perfect. Breakfast was superb and the pool was awesome. Great time!

Niagara falls

We drove to Niagara falls on the day of arrival to see the fall at night and the fireworks, spent most of the seconday day there as well, cave of wind, maid of mist, also went to the Canadian side for a better view. The hotel is just somewhere to sleep. The ones near the falls are old and dirty, or so have we read, unless you stay across the border where all the nice hotels are. We wanted somewhere nice and clean, holiday inn express near the airport fits our requirement nicely and drive was too bad at all, also gave u's a chance to try some authentic wings in buffalo downtown area on the way home. Wireless Internet only in the lobby, nice speed though.

great place to stay

We stayed only one night and found the beds very comfortable and the room size large; breakfast adequate. the pool was very nice, but we forget our suits! Darn! Breakfast was good; the game room and exercize rooms added values.
