Was very satisfied with everything. We arrived at 10pm and left by 8am so we didn't get time to use the pool or the gym. My husband tried to use the gym early but it was full. He had the breakfast and he said it was really good. We had a very accomodating stay.

Just what you need
There's not much else in this immediate area as far as known, chain hotels. This one provides a lot of benefits, especially for those staying for multiple days. There's more recreational stuff on the hotel property than you see at most places, plus breakfast and free beer/wine on Wednesday nights. The property attracts a lot of people who have business with the University or the hospital, which are are five minute drive away. There's nothing that you can walk to, however, near the hotel. So having a car or arranging transportation is important.

great stay
we went for a night, we had a jacuzzi room. it was clean & didnt have any problems. we usually stay at holiday inn. food wasnt great.

well run and comfortable
We visited family. The hotel was well situated to visit family in Port Jefferson. OUR STAY WAS PLEASANT WITH GOOD SERVICE, a good breakfast and and a friendly, efficient staff. Parking was free. The elevator was a bit slow.

Long story short
I was travelling with my 13 year old son, my mother, my handicapped sister, brother-in-law and neice. Upon check-in we was advised that all elevators were broken but that they should be repaired within 1 1/2 hours. During this time we had to remain in the lobby because my sister is in a wheelchair. The hotel was unable to relocate my sister and her husband to another room because the hotel had no vacancy. Finally after many hours of trying to repair the elevators they offered to relocate us to another hotel approx. 15 minutes away at no cost to us.

Nice Hotel
Hotel was very nice, but our room was right next door to the laundrymat which made it unappealing. Other than that it was fine.
