Good stay...
This hotel is in a good location for the things I needed to do in Brooklyn... sure I would love if the cost of the room were less but knowing it's a clean stay and breakfast is included helps it really work for us! The staff has been very friendly each time we've been there!

In Brooklyn ... this is a great stay!
This was a convenient location for what we needed to be doing in Brooklyn... it's just around the corner and a few blocks from the subway and bus stops... hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly! We will stay there again!

AWESOME! Stay and service!
My husband and I booked this hotel so we could attend a conference in Brooklyn. It was both of our first time to NY and this hotel, despite other reviews was a pleasant surprise. We arrived early from the airport and the hotel gladly held onto our bags until the later check-in time so we could walk around and check out the city. The location is extremely close to many shops and restaurants. We walked everywhere. The only time we used a cab was to and from the hotel to the airport. We stayed in a King room and found it extremely clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast offers a variety of foods from omelets and bacon to pancakes and donuts, etc. I am very pleased and we WILL be staying there again! Thank you Holiday Inn Butler Street for your hospitality!

Clean, reasonable and great employees
I visited Brooklyn to see my daughter, who lives on the east side of Prospect Park in Brooklyn. It was ten minutes to meet in the middle. The neighborhood is rather odd, but in two blocks you are on 4th and feel a bit safer. The staff was wonderful, always helpful and honest about city travel details. It's a clean, small and convenient hotel, breakfast is simple and good and I would recommend it to anyone, even those going to Manhatten.

Seasoned Business Traveller
Convenient, inexpensive, efficient
Excellent staff service, efficient, professional, friendly. Clean room, good amenities. Great value for what I paid and would stay again. The neighborhood is a bit on the grungy side (warehouses, small scale industrial). Not the prettiest part of Brooklyn. But if you plan to sleep and GO, then it's convenient and well run

Super Good Service
The experience was excellent. The service, the staff and the room are very good. It has a nice breakfast and very clean room. The only dificult is the location that is a little far from the subway station but nothing considerable.

NYC Vacation
This was a vacation trip to NYC. Looking for easy access to subways, proximity to downtown Brooklyn and Manhattan, and especially affordable room rates. Located in an industrial neighborhood and not real inviting but looking past that, it was a really good stay. Stayed 7 days and was perfect for my purpose. Staff was very helpful checking in and with my departure. Breakfast was more than adequate and comprehensive.

HIX Brooklyn Review
Experience was generally good. Been there a few times before. Staff was always accommodating and helpful. The price this time was a bit steeper than my comfort.
