This Motel 6 is conveniently located off of I-81 and just 5 miles from the several golf courses, the Oakdale Shopping Mall and Ross Park Zoo! WiFi available in all guest rooms for $2.99 per 24 hours.

disappointing stay although price was right

1st Motel 6 experience in 30 years of travel and perhaps the last. I was given a smoking room by error (2nd floor far away), and had to go back to desk for new room. After dinner, the key for the new room did not work ( I did not have near phone or wallet). Although the room was OK, the small towels and poor amenities (no shampoo) forced me to out again. Good price, but you get what you pay for. Might stay again if I was alone, by would not bring my wife or children.

Not cleaned; poorly maintained

We walked in the room and left immediately. The room smelled bad, the bedding was dingey, with stains on the box spring cover which were exposed because the covers were too small for the bed. Generally too seedy for us and we are fairly adventurous about where we stay.

Stayed There Several Times

I've stayed there several times. Hotel is average quality and cleanliness. Its location is good, right next to a grocery store. Restaurants near by.

Exactly what we wanted

It was perfect. The room was clean and quiet with a price you can't beat. We arrived late and left pretty early in the morning. It was located right off the highway so very convenient. Perfect for what we needed. Bonus was they allowed our big dog with no extra charge.

very sparse and could be cleaner

What can we expect for the money. I'm a bit a clean freak, but could live in a tent if it was clean. Hair on the bathroom floor, or shower curtain just should not happen. It was apparent that the sheets were clean and the bathroom otherwise was wiped down. The worse was the carpet in the room. It needs to be replaced for sure. I stayed hear because all the better hotels were full, but I would choose another hotel, and problably would have had a fit if it wasn't this inexpensive.

Funky Odor

My only negative comment was the funky odor upon entering a non-smoking room ... smelled like a used men's shower in a heavily visited gym. The odor however was only by the front door.

gopd for the money

the staff was great bathrooms and rooms were clean rugs could have been in better condition but all and all a good stay for the price

CAUTION

Not only was this place a dump... but I got the room on-line for $95/night and when we pulled in, the sign out front advertised rooms for $35. At the front desk the manager essentially said (in very bad English) "Too Bad... We already have you credit card". In addition to being ripped opff, the hallways smell like urine, the rooms are dirty and the beds are saggy and gross. To say the least, we will not be back.
