Riverwalk hotel, Binghamton NY
very nice stay. Clean room, and comfortable. Was not in the hotel enough to use amenities but food in the restaurant was good. Breakfast nice. Would stay here again if for some unfortuneate reason I ever have to return to Binghamton

Classic Hotel Experience
I was in town for work. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the check-in process was smooth. I would not, however, trust the breakfast (something about the mediocre food and the aloof wait staff), nor would I walk outside at night.

Avoid dining at the hotel, there are nicer places nearby. Try Burger Mondays or Tranquil for an upscale experience.

Room with a view
Our room overlooked the Chenango River. The trees were in bloom by the river. Room was nice for an older hotel and very roomy. TV was new and room was clean. The location was close to several good restaurants and a new Brew Pub.

Pretty good bet...
Binghamton is a pretty sad city - but if you've go to go there and need a clean, comfortable place to stay, this place would be a good bet. I've stayed elsewhere in the area, so know that this place is either the best or one of the best around Binghamton. The "free" breakfast was decent. I didn't try the gym, but will bring my gear next time.

Overall Very Nice Stay
The only complaint was the room temperature. It was hot - could not lower temperature via the thermostat & the A/C was not functioning. Only solution was to open a window, however at 4PM a few NOISY snow plows came along.

Review of Hotel
Hot water in the sink did not work. The restaurant at the Hotel ran out of steaks. I received a dirty plate at the Hotel restaurant. That Hotel needs a lot of remodeling.

Smoke Free Hotel -- Boo!
As a smoker would like to have a floor designated to smoking , especially for a poor sleeper who is up a few times a night

Poor quality breakfast
You expect a better breakfast from this kind of hotel. Very disappointed. Even hotels that charge half the price serve better BF.
