best in location
It is the nicest motel in Amsterda,NY, but the others are nothing to write home about. The place looked upgraded since my last visit and the front end staff were friendly and efficient. Was somewhat disatisfied in that the room had no coffee and no facial tissues (just an empty box). The front staff gave me a cofee pack and promised more to be delivered - but none were. Tried to use the restuarant on Saturday morning and waited nearly l0 minutes to be waited on while the staff disappeared. When finally waited on we were handed a menu and then told the staff was notcooking today and we had to use the buffet or nothing. We went to a local hotel. I would still stay there again because it is the best in town and hoping I just hit it on a so so day.

Broken water pipe
We booked this hotel on line since the one we had booked had bed bugs. When we arrived they told us that a water pipe had broken and there would be no hot water and they did not have our reservation. They did recommend another hotel that we stayed at.

Americas Best Value Inn
When we asked for a place to eat. This being Sunday night and we arrived about 8:00 pm. He was not helpful in recommending a place. "It will be hard to find a place now." Luckily I had gone on the internet before leaving home and had a place in mind where we did get a great meal. Clerk should be more informed. The wallpaper was torn in our room and overall looked the result of handiman repairs.

Perillos on Bridge St. However, their sign was not up and it wasn't the best neighborhood.

It was a clean, welcoming Hotel .
We traveled with two families to appreciate the fall color changes and visit to Howe Caverns and Coopertown, Baseball Hall of Fame. This was a great location and we upgrade to this hotel on Orbits for there was a listing for and indoor pool. This pool has been closed since the begining of the summer. The Hotel was clean and welcoming. Breakfast buffet was great before we set out for the day. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful from the front desk to housekeeping. Thank you.

Great pizza resturant right near the hotel for dinner to be brought in or delivered after a long day of travel.

"Not what we hoped for"
The hotel was fine except for the pool was down for repairs and we traveled an extra 100 miles for the pool purpose. Needless to say the kids were not happy hotelers.

I had very few problems with the hotel. The problem was I paid $91 for the room and my Daughter, the following weekend, paid $55 for the same room!! I do not think I will ever use your service again!!

I believe we were double charged for our room I was billed an extra $60.00 at check out. I would be thankful if you checked on this for us.

Saratoga Race Track. Hotel is close enough to drive but far enough away to be priced reasonably.
