Overall Good Value

Had a small leak in bathroom that was taken care right away. Morning of departure at 5 am shower was only luke warm not hot. Informed desk clerk when checking out and got a muted "I'm sorry about that" response. Sunday night bartender was very accomodating and friendly. He delivered our food to the lobby where we were watching football game. Would stay again

Light, bright room.

Apparently recently renovated, the room we had was light and airy, a nice departure from the dark "doesn't show dirt" coloring of most places we've stayed. The bedding included thick white comforters, better than I have at home! The hotel has a restaurant and you can order room service, but we didn't use any of it and went to Olive Garden (one of many, many nearby options) for dinner. The free breakfast, however, was particularly nice, with a huge fresh fruit salad to eat from in addition to the usual fare. The wireless was fine and easy to use. I didn't have much contact with staff, but they were polite enough when I did. They had lights on the trees in front in October, which I actually thought was nice. The room was remarkably well priced; I'd call it a bargain. I would definitely stay here again.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

We stayed here when planning to visit Niagara Falls. It's about fifteen minutes, if your GPS knows where Niagara is (ours didn't and it took us about half an hour to get there, but it was a nifty drive full of quaint businesses and motels), and Niagara is really great, especially in the morning on a sunny day; it's beautiful in the fall.

Pleasant surroundings

The staff was very friendly, the room could have been nicer, had to have a fan fixed after we got there, kept us awake the first night. They did fix as soon as we talked to them about it. Very clean, but not very homey, not room you u could just hang around in.

Good Hotel reasonably priced

The rooms were clean and reasonably priced. The restaurant and bar were above average. There was a musty odor in the hallway on the first night, but I didn't notice it in the morning. Strangely absent was a gift shop, but necessary items could be purchased at the vending machines. The TV's in the rooms were slightly outdated, but functional. The heating unit was noisy even on the low setting.

horrible

Check in was fine. 1 bed had a bad box spring and was very squeeky, when i was offered another room, both beds were squeeky, the third room I was shown also both beds were squeeky. I ended up staying in the room I had and just put up with it. Next, housekeeping thinks that the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door means it is OK to call you on the phone to see if it is OK to disturb you. This happened twice during my stay. The elevators did not work on my last day, and I would never stay at this hotel again.

Nice for the Price

We were home for the holidays and it was all about Christmas with the family. I found it to be the same as previous years. The gym needs major improvements to just have a machine that works would be nice but the passes to other gyms was great. This was our 3rd year and you cannot beat it for a family staying for a week.

Comfortable rooms at a good rate

The room was spacious and had a chair for sitting in, in addition to the desk chair. The Warm Sugar Citrus skin and hair care products smelled wonderful. Breakfast was convenient and served in the Embers Restaurant. The fireplace going in the morning in the restaurant made it feel quite cozy. The room was quiet and clean. A good deal for the cost.
