Very, Very Clean!!!
Always happy with the Holiday Inn in Amherst because it's so CLEAN!!! That is the most important thing to me and my family! The best hotel pool in the area too!

Not worth.
We stayed at the same hotel couple of years back and it was great experience that's why we selected the same hotel but this time, it was night mare. On very first day at hotel, we didn't want to go anywhere because of early morning flight and so we had plan to stay at hotel and rest but after 2 hrs of check-in, the entire passage was filled with smell of bleach and eyes were burning. We had to leave the room against our wish and as a result, my 6 yr old was not fresh even on second day. Will never go to this hotel again in my life.

Outstanding location and amenities.
Everything was great. If there would be one suggestion it would be to put the ice machine in the same location as the vending machines. Two separate trips should not be necessary. The staff was wonderful and parking quite convenient. Turning left out of the parking lot during rush hour can be a challenge but certainly the immediate hotel entrance following the I-290 exit is as easy as it can be.

A terrific experience from the moment we walked in!! Front desk clerk was friendly, courteous and helpful! Room was very clean. Only complaint was the bed was a little too firm for my liking..

perfect one night stay
We stayed in Oct 2012. Rooms where clean and spacious. Staff was friendly. The only problem in the hotel is lack of signs and it a big hotel so you can get lost easily.

Holiday Inn BUFFALO-AMHERST
This hotel was nice, nothing out of the ordinary. The rooms were pretty decent and the bed was comfortable. However, I felt more should have been given for your money. For example, a fridge and microwave should have been in each room, a ice jacuzzi should have be present (as stated online) and the pool should have been much cleaner.

Family road trip
No breakfast bar, you had to go downstairs to get coffee. Wifi was very weak, came back from a long day sightseeing to find a hand written note taped to the door saying we had to go to the front desk for another key. No elevator. Could not get into the pool area or workout room, cause the key did not work.

Entire staff unfriendly. Even at checkout, no one asked how the stay was. The wi-fi worked well but only occasionally. The room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was noisy early. Wouldn't stay there again.
