Managment should have quite time after 10pm

The hotel was fine except for the excessive noise in the hall ways between 10pm and midnight. The hotel was aparentley hosting a large group of people for a function and these people ran throughtthe hall and gathered in the halls to talk with their other friends... I would have thought that the hotel would have security walking the grounds.. Also it would of been nice if there was a hair dryer in the bathroom..

Great family vacation!

Excellent hotel, excellent staffs, although a little bit far from the falls. The room was so clean, there were many free TV channel options for you to choose. But you have to pay for internet connection. We purchased additional breakfast option on Orbitz but somehow the staff didn't get the confirmation. But they gave a voucher for our breakfast without asking any annoying questions.

Privacy sign on door means do not enter

We used Price Line and got our room for $70 the first night (Sat) and $60 the next night. Parking is free and the lighting in the parking lot is great. The room was very clean and the beds were perfect. However the noise from the hallway is very much present inside the rooms. I suggest bringing earplugs but I always travel with them. There is a green light that flashes very brightly from the fire detector. It woke us both up many times the first night . I was very happy with the hotel until the morning of checkout. I had the privacy sign on our door handle and had brought some of our stuff to our car, checkout is at 12pm and it was around 9am. We had not checked out yet and when I came back to our room the door was open and the cleaning staff was in the room across the hall. This is unacceptable and I waited at the front desk to talk to the hotel manager. He stated that he would talk to the cleaning staff. I felt that my complaint on the issue didn't carry much weight due to the questions I was being asked. Did she see you guys leave together? Was anything missing from the room? then the excuses came.... A lot of people checkout with the privacy sign on the door! She would have thought that you were checking out! and so on . DOESN'T MATTER what lip service you give to a frustrated customer when the issue is unacceptable. A brush off apology is not what I expect from a Marriot Hotel. As a salon owner for the past 15 yrs I know that sometimes not everything goes perfect, but I have never not taken full ownership for an issue. I have never shrugged my shoulders and allowed my customer to leave frustrated. I dont care what other customers do with their signs or what the cleaning staff thought. The simple fact is MY door was opened and MY privacy was violated and I would not stay at this hotel again due to that. Privacy sign means do not open!!!!!!!

Nice Hotel, Decent Price

The hotel was easy to find...just a few minutes from Buffalo Niagara airport. We did have a small issue with our reservation (one King bed vs. two doubles), but they immediately sent a rollaway up. The hotel was about 25 minutes away from Niagara Falls, 15 minutes from downtown Buffalo and very near the major highways which was great. We stayed two nights and had a great time. The highlight for our son was that the Jacksonville Jaguars (American football team) was staying at the hotel as well since they were playing the Buffalo Bills. I would go back if I return to Buffalo.

Buffalo Marriott Niagara Review

A great place to stay while in Buffalo. Staff did an excellent job. Great pool and gym. Very convenient to all attractions, airport and businesses. But beware the restaurant - the food is below average and over priced. We ate dinner there one night and got sick off the food. Too many good restaurants in the area to eat hotel food.
