Safe Haven
Due to connecting flight being canceled did not arrive until second night of this stay. It felt great to finnally be in Albany and the staff from shuttle drivers to hotel personel I was made to feel welcomed and safe. The room was clean and quiet and I slept well for the first time in three days.

Ok for price
This is definitely a one night place. Room was clean and stocked with towels. But lot outside was not lit properly and seemed very unkept. Besides that it was a good one night stay. No more than that.

Good Location
The hotel is not attractive on the outside. Inside the room was good, not great, but adequate. It is convenient to the airport, the highway and restaurants and I would consider it if I need to stay near the Albany airport again.

Stayed for an early morning next-day flight. Room was small & bare bones; no coffee pot or microwave. Clean & comfortable enough for one night.

Worse Hotel Experience
The hotel is what you would expect. Cheap mattress and small bathroom. It does include towels, soap and shampoo, no conditioner. However, that is not why I am giving this hotel such a low rating. The reason I did not enjoy my stay was because of the noise from the radiator. It was clanking ALL night. I barely slept. Every time when I fell asleep, i would be waken up by the continuous clanking. It was probably just my luck. So if you are going to stay in this hotel, do not stay in room 229.

Good deal for a good night
It was a long wait for the Hotel room because they were checking people in old fashion style which was the paper and there was a large group and only one desk assistant but there was security and an elevator in the middle. The only complaint was the desk assistant kept answering the phone to talk to her friends instead of just being professional and putting them on hold! My rook was clean and nice. I inspected the room due to reviews I've heard but it was fantastic. Everythin was clean and moderately new. I just wish they had breakfast

It could be worse!
This is an example for me of a hotel stay where you pay more than what it's worth and get no more than just a bed to sleep in. I give it a 4 from a scale from one to 10. The smell is the room was irritating to all my senses. This was just a bed for a night's stay. No more, no less.

VERY COMFORTABLE
The clerk was very helpful. When the toilet did not work, she changed my room. Also, I had problems with the TV and she came to my room to help me.

Excellent stay in Albany Red Roof Inn
I enjoyed time with my daughter in preparing her for her wedding in June. No hassle and very courteous people to stay with.
