Nice stay
We had a nice stay at the Holiday Inn. The staff was very friendly. Nice restaurant with generous portions. The room was neat and clean. I did feel though that the bathroom could have been cleaner (toilet, faucet, and shower grout). The pool, hot tub, and exercise room was very nice as well. So much to do/dine minutes away. Comfortable stay. I would recommend this hotel.

Sleepless night
The overall stay I would rate as a 7. I would probably have gave a perfect 10 had we were able to get more sleep. There were ppl talking extremly loud, laughing and banging doors outside of our rm all hours of the night. Therefore we did not get hardly any sleep. But when checking out and expressed my disappointment to the clerk she was very appologetic about the situation and did credit us on our stay which was appreciated.....however sleep would have made the experiment much better.

One very pleasant night
We had a very clean, comfortable room. We only stayed for one night but, we would have been more than satisfied had we stayed longer. We arrived too early to check in but the woman behind the check in desk was very friendly and helpful when I asked her what we could do to pass the time with two children. She gave me good advice and directions. My wife will only stay at Holiday Inn hotels and she was very happy with this one.

Short walk from hotel
The Reel Seafood co. restaurant. The food there was absolutely delicious. Even the creamed spinach I had with my crab cakes was stupendous. We were very happy we chose this to eat there. I wish I could go back soon.

Better Alternatives
Traveled midweek to visit area colleges with daughter. Our room near pool was somewhat noisy, walls were noticeably thin as we could hear most of conversations taking place in next room. Bed/sheets/pillows were very good, bathroom needs upgrade as there is mold in the caulking and some stains rust or other on the shower walls and floor tiles. The thermostat did not function at all, we set the temperature for 66 for sleeping and no matter what, the room temp stayed at 72, which was much warmer than needed and uncomfortable due to dryness. Turning the thermostat off didn't drop the temp by much, it just shut the fan off. Internet access in the room is wired and somewhat slow due to shared broadband with other hotel users. Had breakfast in hotel restaurant, somewhat overpriced, food quality average, hostess was rarely at hostess station as we and everyone else had to wait several (3-5) minutes to be seated for service, which was kinda silly given that the restaurant was almost empty. Front desk staff was very friendly and professional. If you do decide to stay here, request a room away from the pool area, as I think they are newer or have been upgraded compared to the rooms in the back part of the hotel. Location was convenient to highways, shopping, and nearby restaurants. There are probably better priced alternatives to this hotel in this area.

Great place
Great place to stay. It was worth paying about $10 more to stay here than other cheaper places. Friendly staff, very helpful, and responsive.
