Located near the University at Albany – SUNY campus, this two-star hotel offers complimentary breakfast, including Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. Wireless Internet access is free in all guest rooms at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Albany SUNY. Guest rooms also feature flat-panel TVs with cable channels. just what we needed

all we needed was a clean quiet place to spend the night,and this fit the bill. It was very easy on and off the thruway,the front desk staff was helpful and friendly,the breakfast was adequate, and the price was right.

Nice place, good location

Great location new SUNY Albany and downtown Albany. Also near the Mall. Nestled in the long row of hotels in this part of town. Great indoor pool and spa. Checkin was quick and easy, quiet room, no complaints. Very soft bed!

Fairfield INN Albany, NY

Our stay went well and the desk and breakfast staff was very accommodating. Overall a good stay. Rooms were very clean top to bottom. I would stay here again with no problem.

Disappointed

I was disappointed that the staff was not trained to deal with a fire alarm emergency and that the hotel equipment was not quickly repaired.

Good BUT..........

Good hotel and friendly staff. EXCEPT we stayed two nights arriving the first night at 11PM. Our key card would not unlock the room even after an additional two walks down to the desk. The next morning they could still not fix it saying the security company was is California and they could only contact them once they opened at about 12 noon our time. We finally got a key card at 11 PM the second night on our return to the hotel. Needless to say, that first morning, we could only leave the room one person at a time which made it very inconvenient.
