One of the BEST stays I have ever had anywhere!
This stay was perfect! The room and the bed were very very comfortable. The entire “suite” was clean, roomy, and very comfortable. The breakfast and dinners were as good as eating out at a great restaurant! Free laundry, excellent location, super staff, quiet, Dunkin Donuts right next door…what more could anyone want…nothing! Will stay here anytime I am in the Albany area. Highly recommend.

Clean and quiet
We were just off for the weekend. Very clean and friendly. Breakfast buffet was a joke. Very disappointing. No fresh fruit, muffins or individual yogurts. Still overhaul was a good deal for the money

Quality Hotel for Business Travelers
I didn't spend a lot of time at this hotel because I stayed there on a business trip. The room was very nice which had a nice bathroom, living room and full kitchen. It would be a great place to stay for an extended stay. I found the complimentary breakfast was nothing fancy but free breakfast is nice. I missed the complimentary dinner fare because of working late. The hotel is directly across from the University of Albany and doesn't have a lot of restraunts in walking distance however the Dunkin Donuts next door was helpful in getting my ice coffee first thing the next morning. It is good that the hotel is right next to the highway because you can get to downtown Albany in about 20 minutes. It is bad because it is right next to the highway because you can hear it although I'm not a light sleeper and I slept fine. It is nice that this hotel has an outdoor pool but it is very small so I didn't take the effor to use plus I was busy working at night in the hotel.

The Oxford Valley Mall has many shops and restraunts that are all nearby the hotel. I heard the Italian American Club is the best place to eat but I didn't go there.

Good and bad
I specifically requested a "Non-smoking" room, but my sister and I were given a room that stunk from cigarette smoke. I did not request another room, so I don't know whether we could have been moved. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts, but the "Make Your Own Taco" evening event was disappointing. My chili beans were as cold as if they came directly from the refrigerator, and cold flour tortillas were the taco shells. My expectations may have been too high because I live in southern California where Mexican food is excellent. The presence of laundry facilities was great except both dryers on our floor were out of order, as was one of the two washing machines.

Solid value, very clean
Very nice and clean hotel. For the value and location, it's hard to beat. I didn't bring my children, but its a perfect place for children. Dinner and breakfast are included and rooms have a coach and a kitchen. Bed was comfortable
