Courtyard by Marriott Albany Airport

We arrived at 1 AM after a 12 hour trip and found our room had a leaking roof right directly over our head while in bed. Too late to pack up to another room, we just pulled the bed back and slept. In the morning the Agent provided reward points for a free stay since our stay was provided thru Orbitz. The paid for Ticket for breakfast and preview of the food didn't look good to us and we left the hotel for better fare down the street.

Very clean room, homey atmosphere. We were very pleased and would return. And the bed was very comfy- all around pleased

We needed to find a totally non-smoking environmentally friendly (no harsh chemical smells in rooms, etc)hotel nearby Albany Medical Center. The staff arranged for a room, on the first floor, that could accommodate an oxygen concentrator for my elderly friend. The hotel staff was super obliging even to preparing salt-free entrees for the patient. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for cleanliness, kindness and an affordable price!

[...]I was then placed in the handicapped room which had an unusual smell to it. This room had a toilet that ran every 30 minutes through the night. At first I thought it was the next door guests until I realized it was the room's own toilet the next morning.The nightstand plugs were switched on and off by the entry light switch which means that if you wanted to read prior to going to sleep, you had to have the entryway lights running and then had to go to the door to shut them off.To their credit, they changed my room for the next night and that room was acceptable.The pool and hottub, although small were quite pleasant.The rest of the staff were friendly and efficient.Still, I was disappointed over this stay.

On the whole the staff was very courteous, and welcoming. The room was very clean. I am very fussy about mattresses, and the one I had was superb. The bedding seemed very clean. The cafe, though small, was excellent. Their oatmeal with cranberries, walnuts, and brown sugar on the side was the best hotel breakfast I've had. The pool was way too small for swimming. The hot tub didn't seem real clean to me. There was some kind of dark slime around the tiles. Overall, it was excellent, and I will stay there again when visiting Albany.

The room was very comfortable, clean and seemed to be newly decorated with a contemporary motif. The staff were helpful and very polite. I had thought that a breakfast buffet was included in the price of the room, but it was a la carte. The location was convenient to the airport and shopping. The sign for hotel was low and difficult to see, making it a little hard to see.

While this hotel is relatively close to the Albany Intl. Airport, you don't really get much plane noise and you acclimate quickly to the noise there is. I personally love watching planes, but realize it is not for everyone, so be aware what you are in for. The room was great. Simple modern decor. I love the arm chair w/ footstool. It is great to be able to relax somewhere other than the bed or desk chair. While mine was a business trip, I managed to get a little shopping in and I was pleased with the large mirror in the room. Great to check out your new purchases. The bathroom is a little tight, but they make good use of the space. I especially like the refrigerator in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even recommending a hot shopping location. It was a great getaway. This place is very centrally located to everything you might need. Thanks for a great stay.

Nice and quiet and very new. I think there were only 5 other people staying there.
