Super 8 Winnemucca NV

We travel to Winnemucca for wrestling. Though it was well priced, the accommodations were lacking and the rooms required some maintenance. If you are looking for a bed - this is your place.

Great staff incredible room and very classy place you will not be disapointed

While I was staying there we were able to walk and get something to eat at the dinner that was next to the hotel. The breakfast was good and easy. Would have like to have a hot choice. We were here playing soccer so having a close place to stay was nice so that we didn't have to get up so early.

Supposed to be a non-smoking room. It stunk of smoke and when we questioned the desk, they insisted it was a non-smoking room and hadn't been smoked in for years. There is no way that was true. They were very unhelpful and had an uncomfortable night.

Couldn't figure out why Winnemucca of all places didn't have any rooms for this particular weekend. Holiday Inn Express was charging $165 a night - IN WINNEMUCCA. Turns out the room shortage that drove us to an $80 Super 8 room was the Fabulous Fifties drag races and street party. We had a band playing 70's music on a stage in the parking lot 70 yards from our window... But to Super 8's credit the room wasn't that bad. Very roomy, mostly clean (floors a little worn)and we could barely hear the bass of the band's woofers through the walls. We got shockingly good sleep after what we thought was going to be a nightmare. Why stay in Winnemucca? It was close to an area of geologic interest.

This was my second time for an overnight stay at this hotel enroute to Idaho and I rebooked again for my return trip next week. Inside entrance to rooms that are neat and well equiped for the temporary stay. Friendly staff, complimentary breakfast, and reasonable pricing.

We were disappointed although it was adequate for a quick night. It seemed tired and the hall smelled dingy.

This was a one night stay on our way to California. It had our basic needs, was clean and the ice machine was on the inside hall.

From the outside this place looked fine. The carpets in our room were stained and dirty. I called ahead and asked for a roll-away bed for an extra $10. When we checked in they gave it to us to push down the hall to our room. The wheel was broken which made it hard to do. The poor guy that had to sleep on it. It was OLD and rickety, and the mattress was THIN and lumpy. The floor would have been better if it weren't so dirty. If this was a budget place...less than $100 I would have possibly expected the room to be like it was. The bathroom was clean and the mattresses were comfortable but I really question how clean the linens and blankets were. I am not normally a picky person but I felt like the hotel combined with the price was a rip-off. We had a non-smoking room which was down the hall past the smoking rooms and the hallway was full of cigarette smoke. They have you pay at check in so kind of stuck on the price although I will be contacting them to complain. Might as well stay at the cheap motel down the street and pay half the price for the same room.

We booked this motel only as a one night transit stop on a longer trip. The motel provides a decent and clean room for the price. Wi-fi is available at no charge, as is a no-frills cereal breakfast in the morning. The room and linens were clean but nothing special. Winnemucca is not a big place, so the motel is located within minutes to fast food and better restaurants, and slot machine casinos.
