Great place to stay for a night. The staff was friendly and even waved the pet fee for our small bird. The room was very clean. I am not sure what others are talking about I walked around all evening in my socks and they were not black. The internet worked great. There was a sign mentioning the internet in the lobby. Would have been hard to miss if anyone had paid attention. The continental breakfast left something to be desired. There is a little cafe right across the street that provides has incredible pancakes and other breakfast items. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfy stopover. It's not a Hyatt but for $50-60 is cannot be beat.

Not many choices in Winnemucca---won't stay here again. For $100 I expect the front clerk to not be constantly standing in the doorway smoking or hanging out all night in the lobby with his friends, eating & partying on the internet. The carpet in the room is gross. I'm pretty sure the tv remote has never been cleaned--chunks of dirt & ? all over it.

Every year my softball team enters the 44 hour tournament in Winnemucca, one year we booked at Days Inn and have made it a tradition to stay there from now on. The staff is VERY friendly, fun, and helpful. I feel the staff has always catered to us and made us feel so at home and still allowed us to have fun!! Last year was a blast also, the staff knew we were there for softball and that we might be having "too much fun", but they were so friendly and very accommodating nonetheless. This year there was a gentleman there in the evening and he wanted to come out and watch our Boise team play. We let him know the time of our next game, and since he was available to make it, he came and supported us. And we are from OUT OF TOWN! It was AWESOME!! The Days Inn employees are professional, but took the time to get to know us and find out why we were there and even asked us how we were doing. They expressed interest, and that made us feel like they cared. I will NOT stay at any other hotel when I come to town. Like I said, "this will be tradition from now on".

Went to two casinos. They were smoke filled and not much fun. Came back to the room and went to bed. Nothing much to eat in the morning so left town headed east.

I called the hotel to reserve a crib, actually called them twice since I made two separate reservations. The hotel ensured me they took my request so I booked an Advance Pre-pay stay and when checking into the hotel, the front desk told me they didn't have any cribs. I called Days Inn corporate which said the hotel does have cribs and then corporate told me it was an error in their system. Needless to say, my son crawled out of bed and nobody slept well for our 14 hour trip. The front desk was short with me and was of no help. I called the manager on Monday to complain and then she tells me they do have cribs. This hotel doesn't know what they do and don't have. I would never stay here again and will forgo all Days Inn if possible. By the way, the carpets are filthy! My children had black feet after walking on the carpet for 5 minutes. I highly advise not staying here.

This was just an overnight stay. The outside of the hotel is a bit rundown, but the room was spacious, clean, with plenty of towels. It was close to restaurants and a grocery store.

We stayed here at the halfway point of our drive to Idaho. It was a nice sized room and was fine for our short stay (10:00pm-8am). It was a nice surprise that they had some breakfast items available-I didn't even know that was included! There was also a little restaurant across the street, but we wanted to get on the road again. The only issue we had was that my husband left his (nice, expensive tempurpedic) pillow in the room. We called later that afternoon to ask about it and were told they didn't see it. We called again on Sunday before we drove back through and they still tried to tell us they never found it. My husband told them that they better look hard because we were stopping there in an hour and what do you know... they found it! He was very happy to have it back, but irritated that they tried to keep it (pillow was found in the maids room)!
