Motel 6 Wells

Room was fresh decoration, lacking any of the goods that make it easy. No shampoo, no coffee maker in the room, no hair dryer. T.V. was 19" basic 1970 T.V. tube model, no dvd. Heater was either cook you in the pot hot or off, no graduation, so it was either turn it on or turn it off. You want no frills & inexpensive place to lay down....this is it and that's all.

We didn't expect our room to be beautifully appointed...it was a Motel 6' after all. We just expected it to be clean and quiet. Unfortunately, altho clean, there were some surprises. For example, the carpet was wet...all over. Not damp...WET!!! As tho it had been shampooed and left very wet, unable to dry in the air conditioned room. We discovered this when we removed our shoes. The problem with wet carpet is, it makes the bathroom vinyl flooring VERY slippery under your wet feet! Still...we'd manage for one night. Then, when I heard a loud noise in the bathroom...I ran to discover my husband had fallen in the extremely slick shower, which had only 1 grip strip left in it...all the rest apparently removed or worn completely off. Thankfully, he was only bruised! When we retired at 10:30, and shut off the tv, we heard the people in the room above us moving around til after midnight....The ceiling above our bed squeaking with their every step...NOT conducive to restful sleep. The VERY thin pillows on our bed were completely in adequate, to say the least. All in all, we agreed we would certainly NOT stay there again!

This is a very basic motel that is clean and extremely convenient to the freeway. The front counter personnel were very friendly and helpful with directions, etc.

Before my trip, I was able to talk to the people at the front desk over the phone, both of who were very polite. I was able to change my reservation without a fee. On the date of my reservation, I arrived and was greeted very nicely, and given my room key. The room was good size, comfortable, warm, clean. Had some nice free coffee in the morning. Nothing fancy, but very reasonably priced and would definitely stay there again.

We needed a cheap place for the night, and this hotel provided what we needed. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The room, while small, was clean. There was some noise from trucks, but we were so tired it didn't matter much! I didn't care for the shower. It was a strange shape (triangular) and rather small. However, the water was constantly hot during my shower. While I would not necessarily recommend this hotel, I would in no way discourage someone from staying there.

This was the nicest Motel 6 i have ever stayed at. I stayed here last year, and i will stay there next year. It is located at the very first exit off the highway so it is easy to find, but far enough away from the highway so you do not notice the traffic noise. For a clean comfortable room for a very fair price, you can not go wrong. My only complaint is no shampoo. I did not bring any and the hotel had none in the bathroom. I might have been able to get some if i asked, but it did not really bother me to use bar soap instead.

Excellent place to make a stop as visiting the region.

Tissues, shampoo, coffee-making missing. On the other hand, everything, apart from the 19" television, were new and spotless. If you want to know where to eat, ask the friendly staff. And there IS coffee in the office in the morning.
