Great room, noisy neighbors

Couldn't believe there wasn't a catch. The lobby was done up in perfect Tahoe style. The room was also very nice and clean. The bed was super comfy and the fireplace was a nice touch. The only negative is that the floors are kind of thin, so you could hear the people above you walking around all night. So ask for a top floor room if possible. But other than that. It was a heck of a bargin. Also an easy walk to the casinos. Would seriously consider staying there again.

Perfect Getaway

This place had everything I was looking for at a very reasonable price. From the way it looked, I would say that it was recently remodeled; everything looked new. The casinos are just down the street, so it's close but has the feel of being away from all night life. When I'm down in the Tahoe area again, I will definately stay at this Lodge.

Peaceful Heavenly Hideaway

Enjoyed a nearby hiking/walking trail thru Forest Service campground to the beach. Very convenient location to Casino's & shops. Enjoyed the gondola ride, which provided spectacula views of the lake & surrounding areas. The lodge is very peaceful & off the 'beaten path' with very helpful staff. Would have liked a swim pool.

Beautiful place. perfect location.

We needed a place to stay for 1 night only while we attended a wedding at nearby Edgewood. This lodge was more than perfect, less than a mile from the wedding, very clean and homey. I would recommend it to anyone going to an event at Lake Tahoe.

Nice for the price but...

It was a very nice spacious suite for the price, however the parking was an issue when coming back to the room after spending the evening visiting with friends. We had to park on the street which I wasn't very pleased about. They do not have enough parking for the amount of rooms they have. The fireplace in the room we stayed in didn't work, however the price was phenomenal for what you did get which was a very roomy 1 bedroom suite with living area and fully furnished kitchen with the exception of no oven. It had a decent size refridgerator, dish-washer, stove-top, microwave and sink with all the cooking utensils and cleaning utensils there for your use. This place is a time-share so it's a bit different than staying at a hotel or motel. Rooms were very clean and staff was pleasant. No internet in room and the bathroom was very cramped.

LOVED IT!! What a Great Place!

We went to South Lake Tahoe to just relax and this was the perfect place for it! Very nicely furnished one bedroom suites with patios overlooking forest type area and included Squirrels. Loved the Saturday morning breakfast in the "Lodge". The lodge had great "rooms" to hang out in from Living Room settings to Pool Table, Library. Very Nice! Good location to get to Casinos, Shopping. Will DEFINITELY do again! Only negative was suite did not have air conditioning.
