Beautiful place. perfect location.

We needed a place to stay for 1 night only while we attended a wedding at nearby Edgewood. This lodge was more than perfect, less than a mile from the wedding, very clean and homey. I would recommend it to anyone going to an event at Lake Tahoe.

Peaceful Heavenly Hideaway

Enjoyed a nearby hiking/walking trail thru Forest Service campground to the beach. Very convenient location to Casino's & shops. Enjoyed the gondola ride, which provided spectacula views of the lake & surrounding areas. The lodge is very peaceful & off the 'beaten path' with very helpful staff. Would have liked a swim pool.

Nice for the price but...

It was a very nice spacious suite for the price, however the parking was an issue when coming back to the room after spending the evening visiting with friends. We had to park on the street which I wasn't very pleased about. They do not have enough parking for the amount of rooms they have. The fireplace in the room we stayed in didn't work, however the price was phenomenal for what you did get which was a very roomy 1 bedroom suite with living area and fully furnished kitchen with the exception of no oven. It had a decent size refridgerator, dish-washer, stove-top, microwave and sink with all the cooking utensils and cleaning utensils there for your use. This place is a time-share so it's a bit different than staying at a hotel or motel. Rooms were very clean and staff was pleasant. No internet in room and the bathroom was very cramped.

LOVED IT!! What a Great Place!

We went to South Lake Tahoe to just relax and this was the perfect place for it! Very nicely furnished one bedroom suites with patios overlooking forest type area and included Squirrels. Loved the Saturday morning breakfast in the "Lodge". The lodge had great "rooms" to hang out in from Living Room settings to Pool Table, Library. Very Nice! Good location to get to Casinos, Shopping. Will DEFINITELY do again! Only negative was suite did not have air conditioning.

"Roomy, clean, and affordable"

We had a one bedroom suite which provided plenty of room for my family. Kitchenette allowed us to eat breakfast and dinner in our room. Place was very clean, and half the price of smaller rooms in the area. I was surprised to find this place. We will be returning soon.

Excellet Value, Great Location

This last minute reservation proved to be more than we expected, both in value and location. This well cared for and beautifully decorated hotel was quiet, clean and very comfortable. The only thing we could have asked for was air conditioning, which seems to be at a premium in the Tahoe area, probably because there's not much need for it there.
