Nice and clean, good price, great view
The system kept telling me my review has inappropriate language (even though it didn't), and wouldn't tell me exactly what was so inappropriate, so after several attempts to edit my review, I give up. The hotel was fine, there you go. To webmaster: fix your system so maybe it'll bold the words it doesn't like so I actually have a clue what the problem is.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Definitely try to eat at Scusa, it's an Italian restaurant on the California side, about 10 minutes from Harvey's. It was by far the best meal we had while at Lake Tahoe (in fact one of the best we've ever had) and was very reasonably priced, and the waitstaff was unbelievably good.

Harvey's
I've stayed at several different hotels in Tahoe, including this one. The room I stayed in before was very nice. This trip the room I was in had a bed that was very uncomfortable. Wish the rooms would have refrigerators. The view was awesome with seeing the lake and down the main strip.

South Lake Fabulous
Harvey's provides everything needed for a stay at the Lake. We stayed in the Lake Tower which was roomy, tidy and the bathroom was gigantic! The staff is friendly enough and your stay comes with complementary valet parking. For dining options I recommend walking across the street to Harrah's since they have a bit more selection.
