Nice hotel
I really liked the Nugget. the staff was friendly, efficient and the food was good. We ate at Rosies because the food was good and prices reasonabel. we also had the buffet which was a good meal for $36 for two. I would check with the hotel directly on the internet and see if you get a better deal than with

Comfortable and roomy. Clean and fresh. Would have been nice to have a fridge in the room without having to pay extra for it. Close to CC, airport, and shopping. Don't like the smoke as we walk thru the casino but that is how they all are, unfortunately.

Great staff
I got a promo rate and the room was exceptional value- clean, fresh even though this was not in the newest tower. The hotel staff was the biggest surprise. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and eager to help. They were the most remarkable feature compared to the six other casino hotels in reno I have visited.

Reno NV John Ascuaga's Nugget
They didn't have the reservation until several hours after my arrival so I had to put it on my card again to check in. I asked for a wake up call to catch a flight the next morning and it never came, I set the alarm clock as a back up and the alarm clock was broken. If my husband hadn't called to make sure I was awake at 3:15 am, I would have missed my flight.

Weekend SKi trip
I got upgraded to a premier form the Deluxe room. Room was decent but the location of Nugget makes it prone to freeway noise. Casino and bars in hotel are a little dated
