Newly renovated, no casino

Newly renovated, with all new everything (carpet, bathroom, TV, etc.). Great location in downtown Reno. Very, very friendly staff. This hotel isn't also a casino, which I consider a positive feature (no smoke or noise). The one odd thing is parking; it's valet ($8/day) or put your car in a lot nearby. Next time I'll be sure to try the climbing wall.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

Homage Bakery on Ralston Street is a great little cafe with terrific bakery. It's an old, converted Victorian house, and very charming.

Don't waste your money

It feels like a prison complex when you first walk in, all concrete walls. The person who checked us in couldn't get our room keys to program so we had a bit of a wait to get to our room. The room itself is beautiful. I like the decor throughout as its decorated with Lake Tahoe/Reno pictures. The hotel doesn't have an ATM machine or parking, which made it a little frustrating. We had to park in a parking garage about a block away. We also had a window in our room that was stuck open and when we called maintenance to come close it, no one showed up after waiting an hour and half. Needless to say it was a cold night that night even with the heater on full blast. Overall I would say the price of the room is not worth it. I would much rather pay $49 a night and stay at Circus Circus.

Great Hotel

Loved how there was no smoking at this place. This was much better hotel then the other near by hotels. Much cleaner hotel! Loved the rock climbing and gym. They are adding a sauna very soon. Close to Lake Tahoe too.....

Mini get away

It was a good 1 night stay. I wish I could stay a couple more days. The down side is I got charged twice When I check out the room. I'm still waiting on reversal into my account. The staff was friendly and she apologized. I like the indoor rock climbing. But I didn't check if they have a pool. Overall it was a good stay.
