friendly people, good family dining and the rooms are easy to get to. Ventilation system could be better on the main floor to reduce the smoke. All in all it is a great place to stay.

Good stay

Hotel was nice and room was clean. The beds are 'double sheeted'. I know some people are wary of hotel comforters so they may appreciate that the bed is made with a sheet, a blanket, and a sheet so if you sit or lay on the made bed it's on a freshly washed sheet. Would recommend.

what a dump !

stayed there as I was in town to see a band at the Knitting Factory and wanted a cheap place within walking distant. It took them over 25 minutes to "find" my reservation as I'd done it thru this website, the room, even though it was non-smoking it stunk of cigarettes, the carpet was threadbare, they hadn't cleaned the bathroom very well, hairs in the shower, there was no ice bucket and the ice machine didn't work either, on their website they said they had wireless internet, yeah for $11.99 for a day, the place looked like it needs a major upgrade, I usually stay in reasonably priced hotels so it's not like I'm fussy. The only plus was the $1-50 beers in the casino, oh and getting propositioned by a hook er while sat at the bar didn't go down to well either, my advice pay the extra and stay elsewhere !

You get what you pay for

Long line for check in. My cheaptx confirmation had not arrived at the hotel before I arrived, so I was required to stand at check in counter for a long time while there were many tired and impatient people behind me. The hotel did let me check in before Cheaptx sent the confirmation, but I had to be on the phone with cheaptx for over half an hour to get everything sorted out. The entire hotel smelled of stale beer and cigarettes, but you really can't beat the price, so I will probably go back.

Works in a pinch

Nice pool with good bartender. Walls paper thin in rooms..heard neighbors get home at 5am, mold on ceilings, wait for 5 minutes for hot water. Good location...not worth paying over $50 a night.

Very well prepared

I was impressed with room cleanliness and attention to detail. The only problems noted were a loose towel rack and a slow bathtub faucet leak (staff rapidly responded to both issues). Best made beds I have ever seen in a hotel--very "tight". Air-conditioning was regulated and remained at a comfortable temperature. Overall I was very happy with my stay.

Shabby

totally shabby experience, they never had my reservation had to wait 20 minutes till they recovered it, the room was very run down shabby worn carpets, no TP in bathroom, no ice bucket or fridge, no ice machine anywhere, the non-smoking room had obviously been smoked in, if I hadn't already been billed I would have left. Not good not good at all !
