basic room

Really more of a 2-2.5 star hotel. no seating area in the room, the bed was small, maybe full-size, and the tv was still a tube style. All employees we dealt with were pleasant. The price was very reasonable sometimes, you get what you pay for.

Just okay

The staff was friendly and the price was good. Other than that it wasn't that great. The location and rooms weren't great. fir one night it was okay, but any longer I would find somewhere nicer.

Just passing through

I was driving through Nevada on a road trip and new I needed to stop in Reno for the night, so I booked a room at the Ramada because it was cheap for a weekend night. The room was clean (if a little dated) and the staff were incredibly friendly. The girl who checked me in remembered me and greeted me by name every time she saw me. The reviews didn't mention how close the hotel was to the train tracks though. I heard the whistles all night. And the mattress was little more than the wire springs thinly covered in cotton. I could feel every coil. I didn't party, I didn't gamble. So I can't say anything regarding those things. But it wasn't a terrible stay.

A Good Stop Over

The visit was trouble free except for a slight problem with the shower. When I reported it, it was fixed immediately. the adjacent casino was small, smokey and rather shabby. I would not recommend it if your trip is for recreational gambling. The hotel restaurant was very good and the serving staff excellent.

Great value for the price

We needed a hotel close to the livestock pavilion and we could see the hotel from the site. The room was clean and quiet. We were checked in quickly and efficiently. We had breakfast in the restaurant and couldn't have had a better one anywhere else.

good location

Needs some attention to detail... the mirror was splashed with toothpaste(I hope)... the furniture was dusty. The staff helpful and efficient and the location was central. I would stay again if the circumstances are correct.

So So

while the price was ok, the neighborhood was not great. Everything was average but the hotel served it's purpose. In the future I would select another location. the casino was mediocre.
