[...] on arrival the hotel wanted to give a smoking room, then a double bed instead of one queen. The room was not very large, and dated, the beds were well worn with sags in both mattresses. The room was what could be expected from an economy
property next to the freeway. In the casino, there was little sign of any slots giving good payoffs, not many people gambling, but still quite smoky. At least they brought drinks while playing. The buffet dinner was mediocre at best. Although there were sufficient choices, the food wasn't spectacular. We probably should have visited the steakhouse, instead. For a one-night stay in Reno, we were fortunate to find a room at the last minute, but unfortunate to pay a large price for a budget class room.

We are a picky group and found nothing to complain about! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was great. Wish there was no smoking in the casino's, but know that's not going to happen!
