Grand Sierra Resort & Casino
The Grand Sierra Resort was a little complicated to find but once there it was easy to find your way to the entrance. The staff was nice. There was a lot to do there. Not to many restaurants or shopping malls nearby but there was plenty of slot machines to use up your time at.

What a great deal
I stayed in what they considered a suite. When I booked this room every hotel downtown was twice the price because we were staying during Street Vibrations. The room was beautiful and included many amenities like a refrigerator, microwave and even a flat screen TV in the bathroom. The bathroom was floor to ceiling granite tiles and nice on the eyes. The shower was large and had room for two. The towels were large and plentiful. The king bed was very comfortable and the pillows and sheets were high quality. A couple of things I did not like were there weren?t any movies on demand available and they charged extra for internet use. I?m sure they will raise the price of the rooms soon and then include internet use.

Great Place
The Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, was a very fantastic place to stay. The hotel is huge and everything was clean, from the outside to inside. So many things to do at the hotel, from bowling, eating at all the different eateries, great drinks at the bars, to the casino. This is a one stop, type hotel. I went to the Reno Air races, and I go back next year. I will stay at this resort hotel again.

All fun in Reno!
I was on an annual girlfriend getaway. The hotel was perfect. Very friendly staff!!! Clean- very nice, large room! Bed was perfect- very comfortable. Buffet was excellent! I liked the fact the hotel was not downtown- easy access to the hwy. Would definitely go back!!!

Short drive from hotel
Not much going on in the nightlife arena for 30-somethings. The ultra lounge in the hotel was nice- but not enough people to make it really fun. Happy Hour -5-7 don't miss- great entertainment. Travel by bus downtown was o.k.- but would highly recommend a car!!! If you take cab from downtown back to hotel- don't let the cabby take the freeway (adds $15 to your tab). The hotel is only 1 1/2 miles from downtown straight shot.

last minute plans
I had a last minute plan to stay in Reno. I did not want to drive around, just relax. GS had everything I was looking for right in the hotel. Dinner, music, drinks, and even went bowling! Was a very enjoyable and relaxing night.

Good place
An excellent hotel with all amenities and near to major skiing resorts. Great food in their 24 hr Cafe. A fun place to be in with inhouse theater, bowling and lazer-tag!

Great family hotel
Hotel is very nice, clean rooms and nice staff. Hotel has everything you could want, No need to go off the grounds if you don't wish too.Food was great and at almost any price. Lots of restaurents so you had many choices. We were attending a Arabian Horse show and it was quite close to the venue. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place!
This hotel was a great place to stay! But during promotional periods you don't know what to expect as far as the reputation of guests staying there. However, this doesn't affect your stay here, the hotel itself is just a little dated, but your stay will be awesome!

Becoming the place to stay in reno.
GSR is a great place to stay, Rooms are vary nice super clean and the staff is always willing to help. Good night life and during the summer the pool is the best. 10 mims. outside downtown but well worth a nine doller cab ride. One bad thing is thay do charge you for a late check out ??
