Perfect place for overnighting before flight

Could not really have asked for a better experience. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was comfortable, there were plenty of dining options, and I was able to leave my car at the hotel and take the complimentary shuttle to the airport just a few minutes away. Perfect! I will definitely consider flying out of Reno again instead of my home Sacramento airport.

Average Stay

The hotel was average. Nothing to write home about, yet nothing to really complain about either. The restaurants were quite good and very reasonably priced. The shopping was fun as well as the arcade area for the kids.

Grand Sierra Resort

The hotel has a very nice casino, bars, and lounge/Clubs. A number of great restaurants are located in the hotel (i.e. Charlie Palmer's is very good if your looking a a nice romantic meal) and there is a bowling ally for the kids. The hotel is only minutes from the downtown area, if you want to head of to the downtown casinos. The room we were given was very spacious, though it was a bit older but fine for what we were looking for and the price we received. I understand that the Summit rooms, which we were not in, are top of the line though. I would definitely stay here again.

Three night star at the summit

This was perhaps the best value I ever received in a hotel stay. We stayed in a superior summit room on the 26th floor. The room was clean and spacious, the staff was most helpful, and our rate included a complimentary breakfast with,in our case ,omelets cooked to order.

False Advertising

To start, the pictures available online are not accurate as to what the room actually looked like. The room was not renovated, the electrical outlets shocked me (multiple times) when pluging in my cell phone and laptop, and (despite multi complaints with staff) persons smoking ( and selling) narcotics in a hotel room were not even spoken to. This is by faaaaaaaar the worst hotel expierence that I have had.
