Getting Better
The last round of remodels are great.....the place is looking better all the time in terms of the lobby and casino area. The rooms are fine for the age of the hotel. Clean- pretty ordinary

Changes taking place
They seem to be getting rid of the people that made it a fun place to visit. Martha and Mary - who happened to be Union reps were fired!! Me and my friends plan to go elsewhere due to this unsettling behavior by management. It now sucks!!

Simple minded traveler

I had a business affair on Thurs and Fri in Reno and then played in Virginia City and Tahoe on Sat and Sun so my wife went with me. Great location, only about 1 mile from airport. BIG rooms. Was told by phone we'd have a king bed but given 2 fulls instead. Had to argue with clerk who kept saying I had to upgrade but she finally relented and gave me the king (that she originally denied having) Lots of great entertainment for whole family. Didn't like the xtra $11.30/day "resort fee". Should have been already included, not added at end since it's per day just like the rate. Pleased otherwise.

Great Vacation
The hotel has an awesome spa and fitness center. The dining inside the resort is pricey. Portions, taste, service, and hospitality made it worthwhile. The bowling center, driving range, and go-carts were excellent. Please do not overlook the Adventures Desk by valet parking. I went on a guided snowmobile tour at Lake Tahoe for a reasonable price. The casino is five star with ample security to keep out bad elements. Easy access to I-80 and 387.

False Advertising
To start, the pictures available online are not accurate as to what the room actually looked like. The room was not renovated, the electrical outlets shocked me (multiple times) when pluging in my cell phone and laptop, and (despite multi complaints with staff) persons smoking ( and selling) narcotics in a hotel room were not even spoken to. This is by faaaaaaaar the worst hotel expierence that I have had.
