Great get away place
All in one resort. There is a movie theater in the Hotel (just $3/ticket). Quite a few food options. There are great activities for kids and families like bowling, table tennis, golf, game arcade and a fitness center. Also, there is free WiFi in the rooms. For adults, the Casinos are open 24 hrs a day. Free parking.

I would have liked the beach to have more shade as it was really hot out there and I thought the beach was the man made beach but it was only the pool. However the pool was still really nice. The movies were nice at 3 dollars each, limited choices in movies but very nice loveseat seating. My husband and I loved the free entertainment from Wednesday-Saturday ([...], the man with 1000 voices). He is amazing and worth the trip in itself. I hope he is there the next time we go back. He will and can sing any song you ask him to sing. The staff were friendly and quick to fix anything. The food was amazing. The buffet was delicious. We still lost in gambling.

Great Getaway
We had a wonderful stay. Everyone was very nice. Rooms were beautiful. Very comfortable beds. My only conplaint is smoking in the Casino was very uncomfortable for my husband and I as non-smokers.

country western dancing hot spot
This hotel is easy to find (just off Hwy 395), has many good restaurants, a nice spacious bowling alley, very friendly staff and visitors, weekday drink specials from 5-7 p.m., several entertainment possibilities including 2 dance floors with live music at each. The free Thursday night line-dance and then couples class is followed by DJ music and then a live band which starts at 10 p.m. (The DJ and band play at the same times on Friday and Saturday nights also). It is popular with all adult age groups...fun, fun, fun for everyone, one, one. The hotel is also a casino which offers excellent perks for their members. Membership is free and sign up usually also includes some free play. The rooms are very nice and are especially reasonably priced for members at times. The $10 plus tax "resort fee" covers several extras.

VERY SATISFIED...MULTIPLE TIMES STAYED
Awesome experience. Nice rooms, yummy soft beds, bedding & pillows. Homey setting. Wonderful showers, bath tubs & linens. Great food, helpful staff. So many amenities, you never have to leave the hotel / casino. Clean as a whistle. Request a room near an elevator; otherwise, it can be a long walk. Parking is a bit of a jaunt and not really close. Shuttle to airport is great and always on time. Stayed here 4x already and will continue to do so. Can't beat the price!!! Esp on Sun - Thurs

last minute plans
I had a last minute plan to stay in Reno. I did not want to drive around, just relax. GS had everything I was looking for right in the hotel. Dinner, music, drinks, and even went bowling! Was a very enjoyable and relaxing night.
