Would not recommend Tue, Nov 24, 2015
Check in was ugly. I have had this experience before, you just hope this gal gets a job he like some day. Checkout was super this lady looked her job. Service in the two places e ate was excellent Wine steward not so much Picture missing from a wall in the room, just metal clips sticking out of the wall. Shower head was blocked by calcium needed cleaning or replacement. TV audio went up and down on its own. the toilet seat was off of the bolts. Don't you think a maid would have noticed? Chances of returning to Reno? Fair. Chance of staying at the Eldorado! Not if we were comped

Great location in Reno

Would recommend Sun, Aug 23, 2015
Have been going to the Eldorado for 8 years now. It is an older property but it is well maintained and always a nice place to stay. However for the first time, I did have an unpleasant surprise upon arriving. The lady at the desk said they did not have any non-smoking rooms like I had requested. She made me upgrade to a tower room to get a non-smoking room and her attitude was not that great. Other than that it was a good stay.

Keep Looking

Would not recommend Fri, Aug 21, 2015
The hotel room was not that clean and there was a dirty bandaid that was left on one of the soda cans in the snack bar. The snack bar has weight sensors so if you lift off an item, it will charge your account. When I was trying to pick off the Bandaid with Kleenex, it was stuck so when it unstuck the can fell over and then it took two trips to concierge to get it sorted out. And by sorted out, I mean that they would not waive the charge since the item was not used, but they let me have TWO free sodas instead of the ONE charged (which I did not want anyway as I do not drink soda). Wifi was super slow. Older rooms, unless you get this for really cheap I would recommend elsewhere. Parking garage also sucks and takes forever to find a spot. Oh yeah, and my neighbors were partying my second night there until about 4am and I had to call down to the front desk nine times about it. SUPER THIN walls so couldn't sleep at all.
