Served its purpose

This hotel was adequate for meeting our needs on our recent stay. We stayed here because of it's affordability, reviews of cleanliness and it's location to ski Mt. Rose. The breakfast and dinner buffet's were wonderful and inexpensive and the hotel is easy to navigate. The only complaint I have is the smoking throughout the casino's. It's gross and I hate smelling like smoke!

good for the price

The room was pleasant with a very comfortable bed and linens. However the noise of the heating /cooling system was terrible. We were on the 10th floor and was told that it is much less on the lower floors. I'm not sure we will chance it for the future.

Spring break week

The hotel itself is decent. However, ppl are pretty loud and you can even hear housekeeping in the morning. The hotel resort fee does not include wi-fi, which is pretty standard in all hotels now. Most of the rooms are smoking and it's very annoying when you are traveling with kids. Getting in and out of the parking garage is annoying. You have to get the tickets validated. They should just open the garage to public.

Not bad, should have been better.

The pool and workout rooms are weak and therefore hurt the experience. Staff was good however and quick to change our rooms after a security issue on the door, although nobody helped us move all of our stuff, late at night .

A good cheap time

The casino is dated, but a good value. We LOVED the buffet and Trivoli restaurants. The pool and hot tub are tiny, but we're too crowded during our August stay.

Water Park trip

Really good price, but you get what you pay for. We stayed here because we needed cheap accomodations on our way home from Idaho. Plus we wanted to hit the waterpark in Sparks. This place was just OK for us, but we definitely don't like casinos in general.

Just OK

Don't be fooled by the free 'internet wifi' via TV, it's basically the old fashioned web TV. No access via smart phones or laptops without a $2.99 per hour charge. Had to go to McDonalds across the street for true free wifi. Room was quite cold and 'airy'. Had to turn the A/C off and put towels at the bottom of the door to keep the room temperature comfortable. Located right in the heart of downtown casinos; so convenient to walk around to other casinos if you want. Ate at the microbrewery twice, food/service was great and reasonably priced.

It was just a room

The room was a little on the small side and the bed wasn't very comfortable. I had stayed next door at the Silver Legacy several times, but wanted to try the Eldorado. Minimal amenities, no closet, coffee maker didn't work. Couldn't wait to checkout. Won't do that again.
