Good location and value
I chose the Atlantis because of its proximity to the airport and our business meeting. The room was in the luxury category. The decor was a bit old-fashioned...80s island flavor. The upholstery could have used a good cleaning, ditto for the rugs, but the beds were comfortable. The price was right for us because we don't spend that much time in the room. Good dining options and friendly staff. If you like sushi, the all-you-can-eat sushi bar is a winner. The debate was on so we ordered room service. Service was fast and the food was better than expected. The hotel is unusual in that there are quiet places to relax. My husband had business calls to make so this was a welcomed plus. If you're a penny slot player, this is a great place to play. All the latest slots and quite a few unique ones. I played max bet for over twelve hours and never got behind. The casino can be a challenge for someone in a wheelchair although there are ramps in out of the way places.

Clean quiet and comfortable
The Atlantis was very clean quiet and extremely comfortable for the most part the staff was very friendly and helpful with a very small minority that did not seem quite as friendly and helpful as they could have been and by the same token maybe it was just a bad day for them, all in all I was quite satisfied with my stay.

Reno Rib Fest Stay
The Atlantis in Reno was very nice for the price I payed. It was clean and the staff was nice. I liked the fact that everything was there on site at the resort. They had a lot of different restaurants. The only thing I can complain about is the bed. It was hard and uncomfortable. I didn't sleep well. Our neighbors were not loud either which made for a good experience. Maybe the more expensive rooms have better beds, I didn't pay for the nicer room because I only stayed for one night.

At the Atlantis there is an all you can eat sushi bar for $22, which isn't a bad price, especially if you eat a lot of it.

good accomodations
The Atlantis Hotel proved to be a good lodging choice for me because the event I was attending was located directly across the street. The large room was well furnished, clean and the domestic staff efficient. The bed was comfortable. The check-in process was a bit cumbersome as they probably required more staff for this function. The gym facilities were very lacking and there was the smell of smoke throughout the facility from the casino within.

Atlantis - Economy Lodge
Looks like the old property - motel style though. Good room size with a queen bed, round table and 2 chairs, air conditioning works fine and good cable TV. It is not bad: good towels, clean bed and room and an the best shower ever. But still no luxury at all. Parking is very easy and hotel staff very nice. Meals at the buffet restaurant are also priced decently. I don't see a reason not to use this type of lodge.

My review of Atlantis Casino Resort Spa * Reno
The room was nice inside and kept very clean. We were a little disappointed in the fact that we were put in a room in the motor lodge and not in the casino/hotel. On our next visit we would stay there again but would need to be in a room in the main building. Everyone was very courteous. Check in was a little slow since they only had 1 or 2 people at the desk at any given time, even when there was quite a line of people waiting to check in. The other problem was that I had to call the desk at 1:30 p.m. to have our room cleaned. They tended to do this quite late in the day if we did not request it to be done early. We were always up and out by 6 or 7 am so afternoon seemed quite late for us since we were in and out of the room and worried that we were disrupting the cleaning staff. I did like the fact that they had an ironing board, iron, safe, and hair dryer in the room. This was very convenient for us traveling all the way from Florida. The location was nice and the scenery beautiful. We loved the grocery store/bakery across the street called Raley's.

Try the deli/bakery at Raley's grocery store across Virginia Avenue. It has a sitting area with a couch tables, microwave and a fireplace and water fountain where you can sit and enjoy the best fresh baked fruit tarts, apple dumplings and panini sandwiches. You must visit. We were amazed at how friendly all service personnel were.

My review of Atlantis Casino Resort Spa * Reno
The Atlantis Casino in Reno was very nice. Our room however, was located with the outside elevators at each window. These elevators did not run the entire night. They were very distracting the first night, but we noticed them less after that. The food was good....somewhat more expensive than we expected. We are accustom to the food being cheaper at casinos in our area, Tunica specificly. The parking lots were convenient and well lighted. One did not feel threaten to got out at night. All in all we enjoyed our trip to Reno. We met friends and had a great visit.

We enjoyed a trip around Lake Tahoe, Carson City and Virginia City. One could imagine the old west in Virginia City. Lake Tahoe was beautiful. There was snow still on the mountains. This trip was a very interesting and we did not travel far to enjoy it.
