Good value for money

Good value for money. Vegas was expensive. I got the room very cheap for night stays. Staff was polite and courteous. Good value if you are travelling single.

Relaxing Stay

The Hotel was great. I stayed in the tower portion and the rooms were spotless. The rooms are for the most part quiet, the only time I heard people was in the late morning hours. The hotel is located about 30 minutes outside of Vegas and has its own Casino along with 2 more hotels and casinos just over the highway, that you can get to by monorail. Each resort offers shows and entertainment, so you get the Vegas feel without the prices. Or, you can stay there for a cheaper price and drive to Vegas. Staff went out of their way to get me what I needed and wanted and were very helpful. There was an arcade and ride place, that children had access to most of the day and night.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

I'd recommend staying away from the buffet at Terrible hotel. The people were friendly and the service was good, but the food didn't compare. Stick to the buffet at Whiskey Pete's. Much better.

Good place to stay- bad place to eat.

The hotel itself was what I expected. The room was clean, but showing its age. However, the room was surprisingly quiet, even for a Saturday night with people coming and going, and I was not awakened during the night. There was a long wait to check in, and they did seem understaffed, so take advantage of the express video check out in your room. Food choices are lacking at the entire resort area. If you don't want fast food, your choices are limited to Mega Cafe, or one of the other hotels restaurants, which are equally lacking. The McDonalds in Whiskey Petes, where I stopped because I was craving a sundae, was staffed by people who hated tourists and their jobs, and it showed. However, the ice cream machine was broken, so no sundae for me. Overall, it was a good deal for the $35 it cost to stay on a Saturday night.

For those seeking value

If value is what you want, then you have it here. If you are looking for inexpensive basics, it is here. Rooms are cleaned ok. Linens and towels are clean. For those used to a commute, the drive to Las Vegas is not bad either if you are visiting at a busy/expensive time. No resort fees at the current time; they have been adding resort fees to the Strip. For those who don't want to drive all the way north to Las Vegas from CA, then you get a number of casinos in the chain of properties here. They are sprucing up the casino area like replacing the old carpeting. Just happened to see them be doing up. The property has changed hands a few times in the recent years. They are putting some money into the upkeep versus before. There is outlet shopping here too.

A place to sleep

Checking in was smooth; the room - OK...there was a table that had not been cleaned...had some crusty food on it. Not sure how housekeeping could miss that! Then my AC died on the 2nd night. The water pressure in the shower was really good, almost too good! It actually hurt a little!! It was a place to sleep, however, next time I will pay extra and stay at Buffalo Bills - those rooms are much nicer!!
