Cold night near snow resorts
We were not given keys, which I thought was creepy. The heater in the room did not work. A default alarm woke us up at 7am. If you have a trip planned to kirkwood, do yourself a favor, don't stay here.

Picked it based on location. Good Value. Continental breakfast was minimal compared to others but the price compensated. Good restaurants in the area[but too much food]. Satello's, TJ's at the hotel next to Sharkey's, Danny's right next to hotel had an excellent eggs bennedict. Good salad bar and so so Philly cheese. Had a problem with the sink and it was repaired within an hour

Twice a great stay!
Minden is a cute little town and the Best Western is a great place to stay when there. It's a bit outside of the city center which is the only reason I rated it slightly lower on location (I was on foot for part of this trip as I was sharing with others in the party) but the pool was nice and the rooms are very clean and well taken care of.

Bicycling trip
Was starting point for a bicycling trip to Mammoth Lakes. Easy to find off of US395, very hospitable personnel, good sized and clean rooms. Lots of parking for oversized vehicles and trailers. Would definitely stay here again.

The Travelling Family
Great Value!
Minden was a stop on our way from Death Valley to home. We wanted a clean place that I would feel comfortable laying my head (and my kiddo's) and this hotel couldn't have been more appropriate. This was an amazing value! The staff was friendly and our room was quiet, comfortable and the continental breakfast was wonderful.

Very pet friendly and good location
Check in seems to be a bit slow at this hotel, but the staff is friendly and trys to please. Good location between Carson City and Lake Tahoe, as well as Gardnerville and Minden. Price was very reasonable.

Adjust to unexpected needs
Best Western Minden Inn employees are very polite...they have a fast and friendly service as you check in. The clerck was very helpfull in acomidating me with another room where pets where aloud knowing that it was avery busy weekend (4th of July). The location was great we were close to the lake and casinos.

There is a small plaza walking distance from the hotel where we bought all the necesary stuff for a good time in the lake at a very low price.
