Overview

Wynn Las Vegas was opened in 2005 by Steve Wynn, a major player in the Las Vegas hotel industry having previously owned the Bellagio, Mirage, and Treasure Island. Nightclubs and writhing blue snake behind the bar, and the day-to-night glamor of the tiered Encore Beach Club (at sister hotel Encore) are renowned throughout the Strip. The Wynn Hotel even takes its speciality dining seriously, with extensive vegan options and eateries decked out with everything from Chinese dragons (Wing Lei) to lifesize Frank Sinatra prints (Sinatra).

The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star award-winning Wynn Las Vegas sets the dtandard as one of the top luxury destinations in Las Vegas. Whether the purpose of the visit is a Vegas-style romp or a relaxing retreat, Wynn Las Vegas has a multitude of entertainment options, activities and amenities to transport guest's worlds away from their everyday. Casual elegance defines the environment of the 2,716 guest rooms and suites, all equipped with advanced technologies and a panoramic view of the Las Vegas cityscape. Signature restaurants bring the dining experience to a new level of distiction while the nightclubs arouse an unparalleled, vibrant energy. Wynn Las Vegas offers its guests an array of amenities and indulgences including private lagoons and waterfalls, an exclusive shopping promenade featuring renowned designers, an 18-hole golf course designed by Tom Fazio and Steve Wynn, a tranquil spa and salon, and expansive meeting rooms and facilities. The nightly entertainment includes the magical Lake of Dreams and the provocative water show "Le-Reve-The Dream."

Neighborhood

Wynn Las Vegas is nestled between two classic Strip institutions - the mid-twentieth century Riviera and the 90s' Treasure Island, offering guests an insight into how the city has evolved from vintage casinos through to themed hotels. For travelers who love to shop, the Wynn faces the paradisical Fashion Show Mall and the hotel is also one of the closest to the Commercial Center - a hidden gem which was frequented by leading Vegas entertainers of the past, including Elvis and the Rat Pack.

The Wynn is a beautiful hotel & we always have a great time. Food great but we did have a problem at Costa Di Mare. Medium filet was well done and we would have sent back but did not have time. Seafood was delicious.

SEMA show - too bad their hotel information package lacks so much

Would not recommend Mon, Nov 9, 2015
The check in process was simple and efficient, rooms clean, but no information offered anywhere about room service menu or costs, no info on the business services offered unless things fall apart and you complain - then the information comes albeit far too late in the trip to make up for their short comings. We got ripped off by their Internet Kiosk when attempting to check in for our return flights and print boarding passes: this was recommended to us by the hotel staff as the best way to accomplish our task of getting our check-in taken care of at the hotel rather than at the airport. When we complained about being ripped off to the hotel mgmt all we got was were sorry, we use an outside vendor for this service - please call their customer service number listed on the kiosk and request their assistance. When you call the number it goes to a message indicating the number is not in service :-(. Upon advising the hotel of this, they then advised we could use the business office services for free to check in and print our boarding passes. If they would have published this information for the guests they could have avoided us being frustrated and our unhappiness with their services. We will not return to the Wynn as they just do not seem to care about the guest experience - its all about the money to them.
